This proposal is for a podcast called "Chatting Sh*t With Joe and Josh" where the hosts will discuss gaming, social media, and other topics in a comedic way. The hosts aim to inform and entertain an audience ages 12 and up about issues in gaming communities and the wider world. Legal considerations include censoring swearing and placing a disclaimer about explicit content to avoid offending groups while distinguishing the podcast from existing shows through original content.

Product’s Purpose: To either inform or discuss topics going on within the world or within
the gaming community that have been recently announced
What is the product’s purpose (entertain/educate etc.) and how will you achieve this?
Genre: Podcast/audio Poster/teaser trailer
Talk about how the company’s reputation and the older games they’ve made and how successful
they were
What sort of product is it
Content: We talk about Gaming, social media, problems that are happening with us and within
certain community. We talk about company’s and chat sh*t about their flaws
What is your product about? Discuss what you would put in it (be specific). Does it have a story? If
so, discuss it here
Research & Planning: the main idea comes from rooster teeth as they are known for having quite
a comedic podcast show where they talk about games or they have general discussions
The ideas from my planning and research will help that using too many people can mess with the
balance
Where will you use elements of your research and planning to influence and inform your final idea
(be specific to certain parts) I will use a more comedic role as josh takes up a more serious side
yet we both cover very valid topics.
Audience: the age range will probably be 12+ as the audience will be covering topics that younger
people won’t understand or have much of an understanding on. It will be open to all genders and
all social statuses and mixed psychographics, as its more available to people so not many will take
offence and people will understand it better

Think about any offensive material you will include? Swearing/offensive language so it will be
censored and have viewer discretion
Will you restrict younger people using/accessing it? yes
Will it offend any social groups/religions/ethnicities? Possibly
How will you ensure you do not offend anyone? I will place a declaimer at the start saying it will
contain explicit content but it will be censored
Are you using characters/names/logos of existing products/IPs? no
Will your product be sufficiently different from existing products to not get sued for copyright
infringement? Yes, it’s all made from scratch aside from the Podcast logo
