You are able to complete the following;
• Page 10 – AC 1.1 – This work you have completed for
homework so please upload these to the ‘homework’
section in Moodle. AC 1.2 – You wrote some notes
based in this when working on your learning mat. Try
to put this in full sentences.
• Page 11 – Tutor Observation – Add your name and sign.
AC 4.1 – Complete this
• Page 12 – AC 2.2 & 3.1 – Complete these. AC 3.2 was
your homework. You need to include this on the
homework section of Moodle too.
• Page 13 – AC 5.1 & 5.2 – You took notes for this last
week. Please complete this in your portfolio.
14. ADMIN TASK 2 - Continued
1. Follow instructions to complete routine administrative tasks - ADMIN TASK 2
(handout) – this will usually take 2 or 3 sessions
2. You need to create (minimum) 3 separate documents from the Task sheet –
These need to be different types of documents but you can choose them (for
those learners who are able, choose the more difficult documents to challenge
yourself)
3. Proof read each document – Look for errors in layout, spellings, capital letters,
information is accurate, formatting is correct and professional
4. Save each file with an appropriate file name to your pen drive (Ask if you are
unsure) in a folder you have created called Admin Task 2
If you have completed this for all 3 documents – Check Moodle for extension
activities on Word Processing and Word tables

RECEPTION
• Whilst you were on reception last week, you
were asked to consider and discuss with each
other the reasons someone would come to
reception at Linkbridge and how you would be
able to help them – Please share these
examples with the rest of the group

are you being observed on?
Turn to page 18 in your workbook and look at your
Visitor’s Log.
• 1.1 Welcome visitors and establish the purpose for their visit – How are
we able to do this?
• 1.2 Follow organisational procedures for receiving visitors – What
organisational procedures may there be here?
• 1.3 Ask and answer routine questions – What may you need to ask?
• 1.4 Make visitors feel welcome during any period of waiting – How are
you able to do this?
• 1.5 Use appropriate tone and language, including body language, when
dealing with visitors – What do we mean by tone, language and body
language?
Photographs will be used as evidence in your portfolio – This evidence
will take a couple of weeks to gather
