Analysis of advert 4
1. Although not the most eye
catching part of the advert I still
think this part is quite important.
As it is giving you more
information to entice you to buy
the album. And I think they have
chosen not to make this the first
thing you see because it is
something you want the
audience to remember, and
once the audience eyes have had
time to take everything in, it will
be something they will
remember. It is very centred
linking in with the whole
symmetrical part of the advert,
and the colours are linking too.
Bringing the whole advert in
together.
I think the image is the main thing that pulls you
in to the advert. The model/artist is staring
straight at the camera and I think this makes it
seem as if she is making contact with you.
Drawing you in. The image is very symmetrical,
and I think the contrast of black and white
makes the whole advert very bold, really
making in stand out.
The only colours used are black, white and gold.
And I think the gold is the most eye catching and is
showing the personality of the artist, showing her
as a slightly diva, with the black and gold lips also,
and with her hair etc matching the whole advert,
and showing her as quite a dominant character.
The advert has shown a lot of her personality
throughout it.
By having this fierce and dominant
look it can help relate to her
audience, and give them an idea of
her music. She has a good link
between her image and her music,
while also giving her audience an
image which describes herself,
helping them being able to relate to
her.
I think this is the main
masthead. It has the
largest font, and is in a
different type of font
to the rest of the
writing, making it
really stand out. And
the reason I think they
have chosen to do this
is to make it really
stand out who the
artist is. Making it very
memorable.
Although quite small, there are
advertisement for their record
company. Even though the advert is
all about the artist the artist
wouldn’t be there without the
record label.
