The document proposes a clothing company called Kookie Clothing that makes affordable, environmentally-friendly clothing. The purpose is to remake and remodel old, vintage, and new materials to create unique fashion items. The target audience is teenagers and young adults aged 15-18 who care about sustainability and animal welfare, though older people could also buy the clothes. Legal and ethical considerations include modifying tie-dye designs and logos to avoid copyright issues while ensuring the clothing is appropriate for all ages and backgrounds.

Working Title:
Kookie clothing. This is because it suggests it is independent, individual, quirky and different as
‘kookie’ is a tern relating to something being a bit different. This will make sure my audience can
relate and is attracted to the brand.
Product’s Purpose:
The purpose is to make affordable clothing that doesn’t effect animals or the environment. Also to
be different in that respect but also in fashion, it will remake and remodel old, vintage, retro and
new materials to make a new look that reflects its audience.
Genre:
Clothing company/website. Indie and skate clothing genre. Environmental and Independent.
Content
I want to make a website filled with clothes that are cheap and don’t effect the environment and
animals. I feel like if the products are advertised to be helping save the planet it would attract a
certain audience that would be loyal to the company. Being a new concept and brand would help it
succeed.
Audience:
My product would be aimed at any gender and for people who want to help the planet and animals.
They would be aimed at teenagers mainly because of the style of the clothes but this won’t
exclude older people, as they can also buy them but the designs are more aimed at people around
my age (15-18). Their social grade would be ABC1 as it would not be super cheap but it would be
affordable to lower to middle class teenagers who have an income of around £10 a week so they
can buy items out of their monthly budget. They are also probably students so may get support
allowances.
Legal & Ethical Considerations:
I’m going to try not to use other people’s images but I want to use some tie dye in my designs I
plan on using it and changing aspects of it such as lighting and colours so it will look different to
the original. I won’t be using any offensive material and it will be appropriate for all ages and
people from all ethnic backgrounds. I won’t use any copyrighted material for the logo designs and I
will use very basic templates and modify them to make them my own.
