Working Title:
What is it called? This can change if you think of something better later
Product’s Purpose:
What is the product’s purpose (entertain/educate etc.) and how will you achieve this?
To help people keep up with trends and also see what’s new and popular. This is because fashion
has become a huge part of youth culture and this magazine will help people keep up with it all.
It is also a form of entertainment for casual people who enjoy following trends lightly.
Genre:
What sort of product is it
The genre I have picked is fashion because I like clothing and like to style different things to create
new and interesting fits.
The product is a magazine cover that represents current fashion trends.
Content
What is your product about? Discuss what you would put in it (be specific). Does it have a story? If
so, discuss it here
It will discuss all the latest hyped clothing collection drops for the month/season which will include
things from sneakers to accessories.
It will also discuss what types of clothing are trending e.g. utility wear or vintage clothing
It will also show what main people in the fashion world are up to
Audience:
Who is your audience? Be very detailed; age, gender, social status, psychographic etc
Why would your project appeal to this person?
The audience I am catering to is that of a younger one, between the ages of 16-25 as people this
age are more likely to care about how they look clothing wise than that of their older peers. The
gender is specifically aimed at men as I am a male and understand male fashion better than
female fashion, and I don’t really take interest in female fashion either. The social statues will
mostly appeal to people who are middle class or above as the clothing featured will most likely be
a high quality and branded, although people from a lower wage margin can view it too.
The social status of the view doesn’t matter, as long as the can afford the clothing featured, and
hey also don’t need a high social status to simply read things. The psychographic that the product
is aimed at are those who tend to seek to be approved by their peers through materialistic
methods such as the way they dress, and gain happiness via social gain.

Legal & Ethical Considerations:
Think about any offensive material you will include?
The magazine wont include any explicit or offensive material as it will be mainly photos, but the
text will only be about the discussion of current trends so it has 0 ability to offend anyone
Will you restrict younger people using/accessing it?
No, it will have no sensitive material so there is no reason to put an age restriction on the product
Will it offend any social groups/religions/ethnicities?
No as it will only be a showcase of different fashion trends which arnt specific to any race or
religion
How will you ensure you do not offend anyone?
By not including anything that segregates people that have separate belifes or cultures, or are
from a different race
Are you using characters/names/logos of existing products/IPs?
No everything in that sense is created by me on photoshop, originally
Will you product be sufficiently different from existing products to not get sued for copyright
infringement?
Yes as there arnt many fashion magazines for men anyway, and all my content will be originally
created
