Spring Term 25th
-29th
April
Dear Parents,
Activities we will be doing in pre-school:
 Over the next couple of weeks we will be listening to and talking
about the story of The Owl Babies. This will help us to think
about our emotions and what makes us feel happy or sad. We will
also be making happy and sad faces in the playdough.
 We will be experimenting with colours as we paint. This will give
us opportunities to name a variety of colours as we mix primary
colours together to see what changes we can make.
Activities to do at home with your child:
 Continue to talk about colours and, if you don’t mind getting
messy, get out the paints and encourage some experimentation.
 Look at the seasonal changes in the garden, there is so much
happening outside. Encourage your child to look at the world
around them and ask them questions about what they can see.
Notices:
 Remember that next Monday, 2nd
May, is a bank holiday and
preschool will be closed on that day.
 On Thursday 5th
May the church will be in use as a polling
station. This does not affect preschool and we will be open as
normal.
 If you have not yet signed a Facebook consent form, please ask
for a new form so that we can update our list. Thank you.
