Genre decision.
I have chosen to create a Thriller film
because ultimately I think it is the most
enjoyable genre. I believe that because
the genre is so wide I can target the
trailer in different ways.
 I did lots of research into the thriller
genre including, surveys and focus
groups. This helped me to make my
decision about wanting to create a
thriller teaser trail.er


Initial ideas.




Film is based on a young teenage girl. She is
an elective mute and has never said a word.
This firstly indicates a sense of mystery and
suspicion. The girl has always taken interest in
drawing pictures. Never really fitted in at
school or with other people, this shows her
isolation from others. Starts drawing pictures
that make up ‘The Eye of Providence’. This will
then insinuate insanity and also conspiracy.
The conspiracy theory will hopefully intrigue
the audience into to finding out why this girl is
drawing it and how she knows about it. It will
focus on the internet and the consequences
they can create to an impressionable minor.
Characters.
NAME: Isobel
 AGE: 13
 BACKGROUND:
elective mute, never
said a word, always
found it hard to make
friends, no intimate
connection with her
parents. Always
indulged in the cyber
world.

Marketing campaign.
I am going to use various media
platforms to promote my film. I am going
to focus on using Social networking sites
like Twitter and Facebook to drum up a
buzz for the film.
 Using above the line marketing methods
will reach a mass audience very easily.
 Social networking sites will target my
teen audience easily, as these sites are
very poplar to this particular audience.

Promotion in production.
Over the course of the production of my
film I will release small ‘teasers’ to make
the film aware to the audience. Whether
this be a picture at the beginning then a
sneak peak video towards the release
date.
 The campaign will feature several posters
of the main character Isobel. They will
include a variety of different shots and
angles to make each one different.


Whether this be a picture at the beginning then a sneak peak video towards the release date.  The campaign will feature several posters of the main character Isobel. They will include a variety of different shots and angles to make each one different. 
