Baker fired a career-low round of 64 on his way to his second collegiate win this week at the St. Edward’s
Invita onal. The senior from Holliday carded rounds of 72, 68 and 64 for a 6-under total of 204, but needed
two playoff holes to claim the win. Baker’s efforts helped the Mustangs overcome a 12-stroke deficit heading
into the final round to claim their first team victory of the season. His 6-under 204 is the second lowest 54-hole
total in program history. Baker’s second career win produced his 6th and 7th round in the 60s. He has notched
par-or-be er scores in 19 of his 83 collegiate rounds (23 percent). The tournament lowered his season stroke
average to 71.94 as Baker rates 18th in NCAA Division II according to his GolfStat ranking.
