Glory Jangthongsiri of West Texas A&M University won the individual medalist honors at the St. Edward's Invitational. She shot rounds of 73 and 69 for a total of 142 over two days, leading West Texas A&M to a second place finish behind #8 Indianapolis. Texas A&M-Kingsville competed as the lone Division II team at the Islanders Classic, with Kirby Sullivan finishing in a tie for 53rd. Jangthongsiri won her first tournament of the year and fourth of her career as she took medalist honors at the
St. Edward’s Invitational this week. Jangthongsiri posted rounds of 73 and 69 for a 2-over 142 on the par 70,
6,076-yard Onion Creek Golf Club course. She led the No. 26-ranked Lady Buffs to a runner-up finish in the
tournament seven strokes behind No. 8 Indianapolis. The Lady Buffs defeated No. 18 and host St. Edward’s and
No. 17 Arkansas Tech who finished second and third, respectively.

Texas A&M-Kingsville competed in the Islanders Classic in Corpus Christi, Texas. The Javelinas finished 16th as
the lone Division II team in the tournament. The event was scheduled for 54 holes but was shortened to 36
because of inclement weather Monday afternoon. Kriby Sullivan paced the Blue and Gold with a 164 (+20) to
finish in a tie for 53rd. The Javelinas return to the links March 9. They will compete in the Texoma Chevy Dealers
Lions Intercollegiate Tournament that is hosted by Texas A&M-Commerce in Pottsboro, Texas.
