Cruth finished ed for seventh at the Golfweek Fall Invita onal this week as he carded a two-over 218 on
rounds of 73, 73 and 72 in a highly compe ve field as the team finished ed for ninth. Cruth defeated 22
players ranked in the Golfstat Top 100 for Division II in the tournament and lost to just four ranked players in
the 90-player field.

Jaime Waltmire, Western New Mexico, fired rounds of 74-73-71 for a two-over 218 to lead the way for
WNMU tying for 29th. He u lized six birdies, with four coming on the back-nine in which he went one-under
during the final round. The Mustangs placed 10th at the Price’s Give ‘Em Five against a Division I field. Waltmire
ed for fourth in par-four (3.93) and led the team in birdies with 13.
Wilfredo Sanchez, Texas A&M University - Commerce, earned his second top five finish of the fall, tying for
third at The Classic at The Tribute on Monday-Tuesday. He shot 73-69 for a two-under 142 in the 36-hole event.
The 69 ed his lowest round of the season.

The Texas A&M-Commerce men’s golf team finished in fi h place in The Classic at The Tribute on Tuesday, led
by three players in the top 20 finishers of the event. The Lions shot 583 (289-294) over the 36 holes of the
event, as the field ba led a s ff wind off of Lake Lewisville early in the Tuesday round. Wilfredo Sanchez ed
for third in the event, earning all-tournament honors with a 2-under par event (73-69, 142). He was one of
eight players under par in the tournament. Hagan Wood finished in 11th place with a 1-over par 145 (71-74),
followed by Garre Landers in 16th place at 146 (72-74). Reed Fisher was 32nd at 150 and Grayson Benavides
was 42nd at 154.
