LSC VOLLEYBALL
Tarleton State remains atop the Lone Star Conference standings at 12-1 with a program-best 13-game winning streak.
LSC games continue this week with a pair of matches Tuesday, and five matches each on Friday and Saturday.
LSC volleyball teams are 108-108 overall this season. The squads are currently 15-17 combined versus Rocky
Mountain Athletic Conference teams, and 12-6 against the Heartland Conference, which are the other leagues in the
NCAA South Central Region.

PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
OFFENSIVE
Hailey Roberts, Tarleton State University, SR, Cedar Park, Texas, Cedar Park HS
Roberts had a combined 43 kills in wins against three of the league's top four teams for an average of 4.30 kill per set on
a .248 hitting percentage for the No. 13-ranked TexAnns. Roberts also added three assists, three aces, 23 digs, two
blocks, and 47 total points against Texas A&M-Kingsville, Texas Woman's, and Texas A&M-Commerce. On Saturday,
Roberts recorded a game-high 14 kills against A&M-C in a battle of the top two teams in the Lone Star Conference. With
Saturday's win, the senior from Cedar Park led Tarleton to its 13th consecutive win, which is the most in program
history.
DEFENSIVE
Bailey Mulder, Angelo State University, FR, Houston, Texas, Cypress Ranch HS
Mulder, who made her first start at the libero position this past week, played a major role in both of Belles wins this
week to help hold opponents to a .082 hitting percentage. The freshman tallied a team leading 47 total digs against
Texas A&M-Commerce and Texas Woman's with a 6.71 digs per set average. This included a career high 30 digs in the
Belles defeat of TWU. She also added five assists to her numbers for the week.
SETTER
Jordyn Keamo, Tarleton State University, SR, Mililani, Hawaii, Mililani HS
Keamo averaged 10.0 assists per set and had 100 total assists in three straight wins against three of the top four teams
in the LSC, including the TexAnns' 13th win in a row on Saturday, which is now the most consecutive wins in school
history. Keamo recorded a double-double against Texas Woman's with 32 assists and 13 digs. In Saturday's win against
Texas A&M-Commerce that featured the top two teams in the LSC, Keamo posted a game-high 42 assists that led to the
TexAnns recording 58 kills against the Lions. Keamo had more assists than the A&M-C team combined, 42-34. For the
week she totaled 22 kills on a .333 hitting percentage, five aces, 24 digs, two blocks, and 28.0 total points.

OTHER TOP PERFORMERS
Meghan Bettis, Midwestern State University, paced the Midwestern State offense to a 3-1 weekly record with 3.36
kills per set (47) on a .235 hitting percentage. The senior outside hitter from Dripping Springs led the Mustangs in kills
three times with three double-figure kill outings. Bettis totaled 10 kills in a 3-0 sweep of in-state foe West Texas A&M to
guide the Mustangs to a historic win Friday over the Lady Buffs with MSU's first victory over WT in the 35-match series
dating back to 1996. She followed later that afternoon with a 15-kill performance with just three errors for a .308 hitting
percentage in a 3-1 victory over Newman. Bettis closed out the week with 13 kills in MSU's second conference sweep of
the week in a 3-0 victory over UT Permian Basin.
Krystal Faison, Texas A&M University-Kingsville, gathered 49 points in four matches to help lead the Javelinas to a 3-
1 week. The senior logged 38 kills with a .273 attack percentage and paced the team with nine aces. Her best
performance of the weekend was against Eastern New Mexico when she matched her career-high of 23 kills after
serving a match-high four aces a few hours prior against Dallas Baptist. Faison continues to move up the school's record
books and now sits third all-time with 1,353 kills and is two aces shy of becoming the programs all-time career leader in
service aces. The record is 164 held by Javelina great Kim Martinez.
Morgan Seaton, Angelo State University, played a major role in helping Angelo State rebound this week as the
Belles chalked a pair of conference wins. With a phenomenal .424 clip for the week, which included a .636 clip
performance against Texas A&M -Commerce, the senior averaged 2.29 kills per set. Along with her offensive
contributions, she also headed the squad's defense with a team leading 10 total blocks against the two opponents. This
averaged her 1.43 blocks per set. Seaton also added a service ace and seven digs to her weekly tally.
Kalie Lyle, Western New Mexico, led the offense with 25 kills, averaging 2.27 per set. She also added a service ace,
28 digs and four blocks. She went for a high in kills with nine against both UT Permian Basin and Eastern New Mexico.
She nearly had a double-double with nine kills and 15 digs against the Greyhounds.
Mariyah Oliver, Texas A&M University-Commerce, led the Lions with 27 kills last week. She had 11 kills in the Lions'
3-2 win over Midwestern State. She then had nine kills against Angelo State and seven kills against Tarleton State in two
losses. She averaged 2.25 kills per set and added eight blocks.
Aerielle Edwards, Midwestern State University, averaged 5.33 digs per set while holding opponents to a .133 hitting
percentage in a 3-1 week for Midwestern State. Edwards' totaled the second most digs of her career with 24 twice last
week against Texas A&M-Commerce and Newman, while registering 21 digs in a sweep of West Texas A&M for MSU's
first victory over the Lady Buffs in the 35-match series history dating back to 1996. The Haltom City native tallied a
career-best six service aces in a five-set defeat to Texas A&M-Commerce to begin the week for the ninth most in
program history and the most for a Mustang in five sets since the 2007 season. Edwards concluded the week with an 11-
dig performance while adding a pair of aces Saturday in a sweep of UT Permian Basin.
Ashley Mataele, Western New Mexico, tallied 49 digs, averaging 4.90 per set. She also added a kill, seven assists and
two service aces. Mataele went for a high in digs with 31 in the five-set win over UTPB and added 10 more against
Eastern New Mexico.
Ashleigh McFatridge, Cameron University, was a force on the block last week for CU as she totaled 17 total blocks,
including five block solos. Her best game came in the five set win over UT Permian Basin, where she recorded 10 total
blocks, three solo and seven assists, as the Aggies as a team recorded 20 total blocks; McFatridge also had 14 kills in the
match. The junior helped CU hold the Falcons to just a .099 attack percentage, and in the three match span, they held
their opponents to a combined percentage of .177.
Hannah McManus, Tarleton State University, led the No. 13 TexAnns with 14.0 blocks, which included 6.0 solo
blocks in three victories against three of the league's top four teams and helped hold opponents to a .147 hitting
percentage. McManus also recorded 14 kills and 25.0 total points last week to help lead Tarleton to their 13th win in a
row, which is now the most in program history. In Tuesday's contest against Texas A&M-Kingsville, McManus sealed the
sweep with a game winning block to close out the Javelinas. In Saturday's win that featured the top two teams in the
LSC, McManus was a force at the net where the junior from Caldwell recorded a team-high five blocks and helped limit
the Lions to a .099 hitting percentage and 25 attack errors.
Jaslyn Wacker, Texas A&M University-Commerce, was a force on the defensive end for the Lions last week. She had
a season-high 10 blocks in the Lions' 3-2 win over Midwestern State. She had two blocks against Angelo State and six
more against Tarleton State. Wacker also had a respectable offensive showing, tying for third on the team with 21 kills
and leading the team in points. Wacker is third in the conference in hitting percentage and fifth in blocks.
Haley Hutchinson, Texas A&M University-Kingsville, the junior middle was a force in the middle this weekend as she
finished with 14 total blocks to help hold three opponents to an attack percentage of .186. Hutchinson averaged 1.08
blocks per set this weekend, including a team-high of six solo blocks. The Georgetown native is now fourth in the
school's record book with 348 total blocks.
Kristan Aduddell, Midwestern State University, dished out 10.60 assists per set (159) to guide Midwestern State to a
3-1 week. The senior from The Colony set a season-high 53 assists in a four-set win over Newman Friday while matching
a career-high five kills and adding eight digs, two blocks and two aces. Earlier that day, Aduddell led the Mustangs to
their first-ever victory over West Texas A&M, registering 31 assists and seven digs to help MSU snap a 34-match losing
skid to the Lady Buffs dating back to 1996. She capped off the week with her fifth double-double of the season with 32
assists and 11 digs in a sweep of UT Permian Basin. Aduddell also tallied 43 assists in a five-set defeat at Texas A&M-
Commerce on Tuesday. On the week, she also added 11 kills on a .346 hitting clip while totaling 33 digs, five blocks and
four aces.
Meghan Parker, Angelo State University, playing a major role in the Belles offensive success this week, distributed
the ball to the ASU attack in both of the team's victories. The sophomore setter turned in a team most 54 assists for the
two matches. With 609 assists on the season, Parker crossed the 2,000 career assist mark with this week's performance
and moved into to eighth all-time in school history. She is currently sitting at 2,033 assist in her young career.
Defensively, she also recorded 15 total digs for the week which averaged her 2.14 digs per set.
Cristal Carrizoza, Western New Mexico, led the Lady Mustangs with 44 assists, averaging 4.0 per set. She went for a
high of 26 against UT Permian Basin. During the three matches, she also had two kills, two service aces and nine digs.
Gabriela Rosa, Texas A&M University-Commerce, led the team with 50 assists last weekend. She had 21 assists in
the Lions 3-2 win over Midwestern State. She then had 13 assists against Angelo State and 16 against Tarleton State. She
also added an ace. Rosa leads the team with more than 500 assists this season.
Casey Klobedans, Texas A&M University-Kingsville, the Javelinas all-time career leader in assists continues to direct
the Javelinas potent offense who hit .316 in four matches. She averaged 11.69 assists per set, tallied 13 kills, three
blocks and two aces in 13 sets. Klobedans finished with 152 total helpers, highlighted by her seventh double-double of
the 2017 season with 45 assists and 14 digs against Eastern New Mexico. The senior leads the LSC with 922 total assists
this season.
LSC NOTES (Submitted by LSC SID’s)
Angelo State
No. 21 Angelo State rebounded with a pair of wins over Texas A&M-Commerce and Texas Woman's this week. With the
wins the Belles improved to 15-6 overall and 7-5 in the conference. ASU looks to build on this week's wins with
upcoming matches against No. 11 Tarleton State, West Texas A&M and UT-Permian Basin.
Cameron
The Aggies went 1-2 last week, falling to Texas Woman's on the road before taking down UT Permian Basin in five sets
on Friday and then falling to West Texas on Saturday. Against UTPB, CU totaled 20 team blocks, while junior Ashleigh
McFatridge put up a double-double with 14 kills and 10 blocks of her own. Paige Dixon led the charge offensively last
week as she had 35 kills, while setter Brook Conley had 101 assists and 38 digs in the three-match span.
Eastern New Mexico
1-2 last week.
Midwestern State
Midwestern State posted a 3-1 weekly record, ending the week on a three-match win streak to improve to 12-11 overall
and 5-8 in LSC action. The Mustangs earned a historic win Friday afternoon as MSU defeated West Texas A&M for the
first time in program history, snapping a 34-match losing skid since the series began back in 1996. The Mustangs capped
off the day Friday with a four-set victory over Newman (Kan.) in non-conference action while concluding the week with a
sweep of UT Permian Basin at home. MSU currently sits in ninth place in the LSC, one game behind Western New Mexico
and Eastern New Mexico. The Mustangs make their final out of state road trip this weekend to take on the two New
Mexico schools, beginning with a 7 p.m. (CST) Friday matchup with WNMU in Silver City.
Tarleton State
3-0 last week.
Texas A&M-Commerce
The Lions went 1-2 last week. They won a five-set match against Midwestern State to bring their winning streak to eight.
They then fell to two top-25 opponents on the road, falling in straight sets to No. 22 Angelo State and losing in four sets
to No. 13 Tarleton State. The Lions continue to lead the conference in blocks and are second in aces. The Lions host
Texas Woman's on Tuesday and A&M-Kingsville on Saturday.
Texas A&M-Kingsville
Texas A&M-Kingsville went 3-1 last week and was led by Madison Brabham's 48 kills. Krystal Faison finished with 38 kills
and a team-high nine aces, tacking on 49 points in the week. Now at 163 career aces, Faison needs just two more to
become the school's all-time career leader. The Javelinas will be in action this weekend beginning Friday, October 27 at
Texas Woman's and then play the next day at A&M-Commerce. Their three-match road trip will conclude on Halloween
at Angelo State.

Western New Mexico
WNMU opened their three-match road trip with a tough 3-2 victory against UT Permian Basin. It was a tough rest of the
trip as the Lady Mustangs fell by 3-0 scores to Texas A&M-Kingsville and Eastern New Mexico. Kalie Lyle, Cristal Carrizoza
and Ashley Mataele had strong weeks. Lyle led the offense with 25 kills, averaging 2.27 per set. She also added a service
ace, 28 digs and four blocks. She went for a high in kills with nine twice against UT Permian Basin and Eastern New
Mexico. She nearly had a double-double with nine kills and 15 digs against the Greyhounds. Carrizoza led the Lady
Mustangs with 44 assists, averaging 4.0 per set. She went for a high of 26 against UT Permian Basin. During the three
matches she also had two kills, two service aces and nine digs. Mataele tallied 49 digs, averaging 4.90 per set. She also
added a kill, seven assists and two service aces. Mataele went for a high in digs with 31 in the five-set win over UTPB and
added 10 more against Eastern New Mexico.

LSC games continue this week with a pair of matches Tuesday, and five matches each on Friday and Saturday. LSC volleyball teams are 108-108 overall this season. The squads are currently 15-17 combined versus Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference teams, and 12-6 against the Heartland Conference, which are the other leagues in the NCAA South Central Region. LSC schedule and results available here: http://www.lonestarconference.org/calendar.aspx?path=wvball& PLAYERS OF THE WEEK OFFENSIVE Hailey Roberts, Tarleton State University, SR, Cedar Park, Texas, Cedar Park HS Roberts had a combined 43 kills in wins against three of the league's top four teams for an average of 4.30 kill per set on a .248 hitting percentage for the No. 13-ranked TexAnns. Roberts also added three assists, three aces, 23 digs, two blocks, and 47 total points against Texas A&M-Kingsville, Texas Woman's, and Texas A&M-Commerce. On Saturday, Roberts recorded a game-high 14 kills against A&M-C in a battle of the top two teams in the Lone Star Conference. With Saturday's win, the senior from Cedar Park led Tarleton to its 13th consecutive win, which is the most in program history. DEFENSIVE Bailey Mulder, Angelo State University, FR, Houston, Texas, Cypress Ranch HS Mulder, who made her first start at the libero position this past week, played a major role in both of Belles wins this week to help hold opponents to a .082 hitting percentage. The freshman tallied a team leading 47 total digs against Texas A&M-Commerce and Texas Woman's with a 6.71 digs per set average. This included a career high 30 digs in the Belles defeat of TWU. She also added five assists to her numbers for the week. SETTER Jordyn Keamo, Tarleton State University, SR, Mililani, Hawaii, Mililani HS Keamo averaged 10.0 assists per set and had 100 total assists in three straight wins against three of the top four teams in the LSC, including the TexAnns' 13th win in a row on Saturday, which is now the most consecutive wins in school history. Keamo recorded a double-double against Texas Woman's with 32 assists and 13 digs. The senior outside hitter from Dripping Springs led the Mustangs in kills three times with three double-figure kill outings. Bettis totaled 10 kills in a 3-0 sweep of in-state foe West Texas A&M to guide the Mustangs to a historic win Friday over the Lady Buffs with MSU's first victory over WT in the 35-match series dating back to 1996. She followed later that afternoon with a 15-kill performance with just three errors for a .308 hitting percentage in a 3-1 victory over Newman. Bettis closed out the week with 13 kills in MSU's second conference sweep of the week in a 3-0 victory over UT Permian Basin. Krystal Faison, Texas A&M University-Kingsville, gathered 49 points in four matches to help lead the Javelinas to a 3- 1 week. The senior logged 38 kills with a .273 attack percentage and paced the team with nine aces. Her best performance of the weekend was against Eastern New Mexico when she matched her career-high of 23 kills after

Faison continues to move up the school's record books and now sits third all-time with 1,353 kills and is two aces shy of becoming the programs all-time career leader in service aces. The record is 164 held by Javelina great Kim Martinez. Morgan Seaton, Angelo State University, played a major role in helping Angelo State rebound this week as the Belles chalked a pair of conference wins. With a phenomenal .424 clip for the week, which included a .636 clip performance against Texas A&M -Commerce, the senior averaged 2.29 kills per set. Along with her offensive contributions, she also headed the squad's defense with a team leading 10 total blocks against the two opponents. This averaged her 1.43 blocks per set. Seaton also added a service ace and seven digs to her weekly tally. Kalie Lyle, Western New Mexico, led the offense with 25 kills, averaging 2.27 per set. She also added a service ace, 28 digs and four blocks. She went for a high in kills with nine against both UT Permian Basin and Eastern New Mexico. She nearly had a double-double with nine kills and 15 digs against the Greyhounds. Mariyah Oliver, Texas A&M University-Commerce, led the Lions with 27 kills last week. She had 11 kills in the Lions' 3-2 win over Midwestern State. She then had nine kills against Angelo State and seven kills against Tarleton State in two losses. She averaged 2.25 kills per set and added eight blocks. Aerielle Edwards, Midwestern State University, averaged 5.33 digs per set while holding opponents to a .133 hitting percentage in a 3-1 week for Midwestern State. Edwards' totaled the second most digs of her career with 24 twice last week against Texas A&M-Commerce and Newman, while registering 21 digs in a sweep of West Texas A&M for MSU's first victory over the Lady Buffs in the 35-match series history dating back to 1996. The Haltom City native tallied a career-best six service aces in a five-set defeat to Texas A&M-Commerce to begin the week for the ninth most in program history and the most for a Mustang in five sets since the 2007 season. Edwards concluded the week with an 11- dig performance while adding a pair of aces Saturday in a sweep of UT Permian Basin. Ashley Mataele, Western New Mexico, tallied 49 digs, averaging 4.90 per set. She also added a kill, seven assists and two service aces. Mataele went for a high in digs with 31 in the five-set win over UTPB and added 10 more against Eastern New Mexico. Ashleigh McFatridge, Cameron University, was a force on the block last week for CU as she totaled 17 total blocks, including five block solos. Her best game came in the five set win over UT Permian Basin, where she recorded 10 total blocks, three solo and seven assists, as the Aggies as a team recorded 20 total blocks; McFatridge also had 14 kills in the match. The junior helped CU hold the Falcons to just a .099 attack percentage, and in the three match span, they held their opponents to a combined percentage of .177. Hannah McManus, Tarleton State University, led the No. 13 TexAnns with 14.0 blocks, which included 6.0 solo blocks in three victories against three of the league's top four teams and helped hold opponents to a .147 hitting percentage. McManus also recorded 14 kills and 25.0 total points last week to help lead Tarleton to their 13th win in a row, which is now the most in program history. In Tuesday's contest against Texas A&M-Kingsville, McManus sealed the sweep with a game winning block to close out the Javelinas. In Saturday's win that featured the top two teams in the LSC, McManus was a force at the net where the junior from Caldwell recorded a team-high five blocks and helped limit the Lions to a .099 hitting percentage and 25 attack errors. Jaslyn Wacker, Texas A&M University-Commerce, was a force on the defensive end for the Lions last week. She had a season-high 10 blocks in the Lions' 3-2 win over Midwestern State. She had two blocks against Angelo State and six more against Tarleton State. Wacker also had a respectable offensive showing, tying for third on the team with 21 kills and leading the team in points. Wacker is third in the conference in hitting percentage and fifth in blocks. Haley Hutchinson, Texas A&M University-Kingsville, the junior middle was a force in the middle this weekend as she finished with 14 total blocks to help hold three opponents to an attack percentage of .186. Hutchinson averaged 1.08 blocks per set this weekend, including a team-high of six solo blocks. The Georgetown native is now fourth in the school's record book with 348 total blocks.
  • 4. Kristan Aduddell, Midwestern State University, dished out 10.60 assists per set (159) to guide Midwestern State to a 3-1 week. The senior from The Colony set a season-high 53 assists in a four-set win over Newman Friday while matching a career-high five kills and adding eight digs, two blocks and two aces. Earlier that day, Aduddell led the Mustangs to their first-ever victory over West Texas A&M, registering 31 assists and seven digs to help MSU snap a 34-match losing skid to the Lady Buffs dating back to 1996. She capped off the week with her fifth double-double of the season with 32 assists and 11 digs in a sweep of UT Permian Basin. Aduddell also tallied 43 assists in a five-set defeat at Texas A&M- Commerce on Tuesday. On the week, she also added 11 kills on a .346 hitting clip while totaling 33 digs, five blocks and four aces. Meghan Parker, Angelo State University, playing a major role in the Belles offensive success this week, distributed the ball to the ASU attack in both of the team's victories. The sophomore setter turned in a team most 54 assists for the two matches. With 609 assists on the season, Parker crossed the 2,000 career assist mark with this week's performance and moved into to eighth all-time in school history. She is currently sitting at 2,033 assist in her young career. Defensively, she also recorded 15 total digs for the week which averaged her 2.14 digs per set. Cristal Carrizoza, Western New Mexico, led the Lady Mustangs with 44 assists, averaging 4.0 per set. She went for a high of 26 against UT Permian Basin. During the three matches, she also had two kills, two service aces and nine digs. Gabriela Rosa, Texas A&M University-Commerce, led the team with 50 assists last weekend. She had 21 assists in the Lions 3-2 win over Midwestern State. She then had 13 assists against Angelo State and 16 against Tarleton State. She also added an ace. Rosa leads the team with more than 500 assists this season. Casey Klobedans, Texas A&M University-Kingsville, the Javelinas all-time career leader in assists continues to direct the Javelinas potent offense who hit .316 in four matches. She averaged 11.69 assists per set, tallied 13 kills, three blocks and two aces in 13 sets. Klobedans finished with 152 total helpers, highlighted by her seventh double-double of the 2017 season with 45 assists and 14 digs against Eastern New Mexico. The senior leads the LSC with 922 total assists this season. LSC NOTES (Submitted by LSC SID’s) Angelo State No. 21 Angelo State rebounded with a pair of wins over Texas A&M-Commerce and Texas Woman's this week. With the wins the Belles improved to 15-6 overall and 7-5 in the conference. ASU looks to build on this week's wins with upcoming matches against No. 11 Tarleton State, West Texas A&M and UT-Permian Basin. Cameron The Aggies went 1-2 last week, falling to Texas Woman's on the road before taking down UT Permian Basin in five sets on Friday and then falling to West Texas on Saturday. Against UTPB, CU totaled 20 team blocks, while junior Ashleigh McFatridge put up a double-double with 14 kills and 10 blocks of her own. Paige Dixon led the charge offensively last week as she had 35 kills, while setter Brook Conley had 101 assists and 38 digs in the three-match span. Eastern New Mexico 1-2 last week. Midwestern State Midwestern State posted a 3-1 weekly record, ending the week on a three-match win streak to improve to 12-11 overall and 5-8 in LSC action. The Mustangs earned a historic win Friday afternoon as MSU defeated West Texas A&M for the first time in program history, snapping a 34-match losing skid since the series began back in 1996. The Mustangs capped off the day Friday with a four-set victory over Newman (Kan.) in non-conference action while concluding the week with a sweep of UT Permian Basin at home. The Mustangs make their final out of state road trip this weekend to take on the two New Mexico schools, beginning with a 7 p.m. (CST) Friday matchup with WNMU in Silver City. Tarleton State 3-0 last week. Texas A&M-Commerce The Lions went 1-2 last week. They won a five-set match against Midwestern State to bring their winning streak to eight. They then fell to two top-25 opponents on the road, falling in straight sets to No. 22 Angelo State and losing in four sets to No. 13 Tarleton State. The Lions continue to lead the conference in blocks and are second in aces. The Lions host Texas Woman's on Tuesday and A&M-Kingsville on Saturday. Texas A&M-Kingsville Texas A&M-Kingsville went 3-1 last week and was led by Madison Brabham's 48 kills. Krystal Faison finished with 38 kills and a team-high nine aces, tacking on 49 points in the week. Now at 163 career aces, Faison needs just two more to become the school's all-time career leader. The Javelinas will be in action this weekend beginning Friday, October 27 at Texas Woman's and then play the next day at A&M-Commerce. Their three-match road trip will conclude on Halloween at Angelo State. Texas Woman’s TWU lost matches on the road at Tarleton State and Angelo State. UT Permian Basin 0-3 last week. West Texas A&M 3-1 last week. Western New Mexico WNMU opened their three-match road trip with a tough 3-2 victory against UT Permian Basin. It was a tough rest of the trip as the Lady Mustangs fell by 3-0 scores to Texas A&M-Kingsville and Eastern New Mexico. Kalie Lyle, Cristal Carrizoza and Ashley Mataele had strong weeks. Lyle led the offense with 25 kills, averaging 2.27 per set. She also added a service ace, 28 digs and four blocks.
