This document provides an overview of the HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test) Version 2021, including comparisons to other Chinese language tests. It introduces the different levels of the HSK as well as its test targets. The Medical Chinese Proficiency Test (MCT) is a standardized language
test to test the application level of medical Chinese. It is jointly developed by the
Confucius Institute Headquarters and the five key medical schools in the United
Nations. The Medical Chinese Proficiency Test (MCT) is mainly for international
medical students, students who use Chinese for medical studies outside China, and
Chinese non-first language medical staff who use Chinese for clinical diagnosis
