2. MALE
He could be described as the 'Reformer' on the 4CS scale as he doesn't stick to trends and is
quite independent. Other music he may be interested in is Troye Sivan and Halsey. This is a boy
around age 17. His parents would be described as C1 on the social scale meaning he may have
money to spend but wouldn't be desperate to keep up to date with trends. Prefers to save
money or spend it on music/concerts.
His clothing would be quite plain as it wouldn’t be his
priority to look on trend and nice all the time. His wardrobe
would consist of a lot of black and white clothing he may
not want to stand out too much but also doesn’t want to
buy noticeable, expensive, brands.
He would enjoy the music of the artist as he would enjoy
the genre of synth-pop. As well as this, he may play a
variety of instruments himself and have used a synthesizer
before and know it can be difficult and therefore be
inspired by her and her music.
3. FEMALE
This is a girl around 16. Her parents would be described as C1 on the social scale. She would
be the 'Reformer' on the 4CS scale as she would be quite independent and wouldn't allow
anyone to tell her how to think/feel or who to be. She wouldn’t necessarily be up to date with
all of the trends but would have a smartphone of some sort as she would use it for listening to
music and following her favourite artists and bands. Some of the artists and bands she may
listen to include Billie Eilish and The 1975.
Her clothing would be trendy but not expensive.
She would find most of her clothing at charity shops
and in vintage clothing sales. She may wear a lot of
denim as that is quite vintage. Her hair may be
quite out there as she doesn’t like to fit a
stereotype and pink short hair isn’t a very
stereotypical look.
She would enjoy the music of the artist as it is
similar to the genre of other artists she listens to.
Also, she would be inspired by the message the
artist intends to communicate through their music,
such as the message of accepting everyone no
matter what gender, age, religion, sexuality etc.
