This document discusses the pre-production planning for a photoshoot at two potential locations. For the first location, the document notes that it is an open space ideal for long shots with colored smoke in the foreground. 1. PRE-PRODUCTION
TASK A- RECCE

2. This is one location I am considering to use to shoot my
digipak and poster photos. It is most ideal as it is completely
opened spaced.
I plan to have my actor stood far away so it is a long shot
but in the foreground there will be coloured smoke.
The shoot will be completed during the day and myself, my
cast and my crew have considered how this open space will
be ideal for the shoot we have planned.
We have considered that the shoot will be weather
permitting and will be prepared for this inconvenience with
all cast and other crew members having thick, waterproof
clothing, umbrellas and suitable, strong shoes ready in case
of sudden weather changes.
If we were to use this location we would have to take in all
the health and safety considerations including dangerous
animals such as horses and any uneven ground that we
could trip over.
I also must clear up any mess we make during the shoot and
be completely sure not to damage any wildlife whilst on
location.

3. This is the second location I am considering for my photoshoot for my digipak and poster. This one isn’t as open
spaced as the first location but it is still a relatively large area and is convenient if I am unable to use the first
location.
Again, the shoot will be completed during the day and I have been to the location with my actor to consider any
health and safety risks and general considerations for the location.
An important factor for this location is a friend’s property. If I am to use this location, it is very important that I
treat it with respect and not damage their property as they have very kindly given me permission to use it for
my shoot.
Additionally, there are other houses on either side of this location and I must be sure I stay away from their
property and only shoot my photos in this part of the area.
