3. CUSPS
 Buccal cusps make up the major portion of
buccal surface of crown
 Lingul cusps may be higher than buccal
cusps
 Distal cusps provide very small part of the
buccal sufrace and that is very round
occlusally and sharper than either of two
buccal cusps

and more pointed
 Mesiobuccal cusp is
usually the widest cusp

up
3) Distal out line is straight above cervical line

 Curved from a point shortly below the cervial line to
middle third portion and located directly below the
mesiobuccal cusp
 The distal out line of mesial root is concave from the
bifurcation root runk to apex
