Question 3 – Institutions

My publishing company
 The company that would distribute my magazine would be Bauer
Media.
 They are a German company that publish a wide range of music
magazines such as Kerrang. I think that they would like to publish my
magazine because it suits the company having another magazine that
is about rock.
 I believe that the Bauer Media’s company are the best suited for my
magazine because the magazines they produce are very similar and
are about different stories.
 The magazine fits in with there brands quite well it appeals to the
target audience of some of the other products they produce.
Audience of the company
 The niche followers of my magazine would be males that are between
the age of 15 to 50+. So they are from early teenagers to mature
adults. Males tend to relate more to the rock genre being more
rebellious and enjoying that style of music more and the older
generation tend to like more of the mature magazines.
 I believe that Bauer Media will help make my magazine successful
because they have already produced a lot of magazines famous so I
think they could help make my product successful. I also beleave that
they would benefit a lot from another magazine.
Magazines they publish
 ‘KERRANG’ is a rock magazine that they create and it is one of the more popular
magazines for teenagers and young adults because it is the rock genre
 ‘YOURS’ magazine is a magazine for 50+ and mainly for woman because it has
knitting and cooking sections which are aimed more at females than males.
 ‘MATCH’ is a magazine aimed at 7-14 year olds because it’s weekly football
magazine which has activities and competitions for teenagers and children to look
at.
 ‘PRACTICLE CLASSIC’ is a weekly magazine about classic cars, men with an interest
to classic cars will appeal to this magazine.
 ‘GRAZIA’ magazine is a fashion magazine aimed at young woman and teenagers
who interested in keeping up to date with fashion trends.
 The company has a lot more magazines aimed at all audiences that they publish.
So they will always have people wanting to buy their magazines.
