Working Title: PC Master
What is it called? This can change if you think of something better later
Product’s Purpose: To entertain and educate, I will achieve this by adding a section which
provides tips and a beginner’s guide to certain games.
What is the product’s purpose (entertain/educate etc.) and how will you achieve this?
Genre: It is a gaming magazine
What sort of product is it
Content Gaming Magazine and Poster, My product is about gaming on the pc. I will add
multiple games, events and top 10’s to keep the viewer entertained while reading my
magazine. My product does not have a specific story but will be based on first and third
person shooter and real time strategy games.
What is your product about? Discuss what you would put in it (be specific). Does it have a story? If
so, discuss it here
Research & Planning: I will use the colours and use of different tools such as posturize and
hue saturation. I will also make each text an assorted colour to make it more appealing to
my audience as that was the most wanted selection in my survey. The idea of using
different tools is that it creates endless possibilities of how you could change your product
to make it look better. The use of colour is important in my magazine asit creates a specific
mood when talking about a certain topic. As an example, if there wasa death, you wouldn’t
have the use of light colours as light colours are associated with a happy mood, therefore
the colours used would be darker.
Where will you use elements of your research and planning to influence and inform your final idea
(be specific to certain parts)
Audience: My audience is 15+ as the game contains some graphic scenes and uses of
excessive violence. Both malesand femalescan play my game and the social groups of
people who earned the gamer title and also elderly can buy my product.
Who is your audience? Be very detailed; age, gender, social status, psychographic etc.
Why would your project appeal to this person?
Legal & Ethical Considerations: No offensive material will be used in my product. Yes I will
restrict younger audiences using and accessing it. My product shouldn’t offend any social
or religious groups as well asethnicities and does not intend to in the upcoming future. I
will ask people what they find offensive and will not add any sort of material related to their
answer within reason. I am using some characters, names and logos in my product as it is
a magazine about gaming. My product will be my own, no copies of anyone else’s work. I
Intend that it will not be like anyone’s product but at the same time cannot promise as most
gaming magazinesare similar to each other even if they are made by different people.
Think about any offensive material you will include?
Will you restrict younger people using/accessing it?

How will you ensure you do not offend anyone?
Are you using characters/names/logos of existing products/IPs?
Will you product be sufficiently different from existing products to not get sued for copyright
