This study analyzes the performance of normal steel plate shear walls, vertical corrugated steel plate shear walls, and horizontal corrugated steel plate shear walls through modeling and analysis in ANSYS and ETABS software. It also analyzes the behavior of a vertical corrugated steel plate shear wall with a viscous damper in a building. The results show that the vertical corrugated steel plate shear wall has the least deformation compared to the other wall types, and adding a viscous damper further reduces the deformation and base shear of the building.
