2. What’s Generative AI?
Generative AI can be thought of as a machine-learning model
that is trained to create new data, rather than making a
prediction about a specific dataset.
A generative AI system is one that learns to generate more
objects that look like the data it was trained on.

3. Why Gen AI?
● 75% of professionals expect that generative AI will cause “significant or
disruptive change in the nature of their industry’s competition” over the next
three years, according to McKinsey’s research.
● 70% of Generation Z use the technology and 52% of them trust it to help them
make decisions, according to Salesforce.
● 100 million people use ChatGPT on a weekly basis, says OpenAI CEO Sam
Altman.
● 86 percent of IT leaders expect generative AI to soon play a prominent role in
their organizations, says Salesforce.
● Two million developers are working on apps built on OpenAI’s platform.

4. Why Gen AI?
● Research by Brainy Insights estimates that the revenue generated from
generative AI services will hit $188 billion by 2032, driven by increased AI
adoption across all industries and the desire by businesses to leverage data for
decision-making.
● The Salesforce survey Generative AI Snapshot found that 55% of those working
in marketing are already using generative AI, with another 22% planning on
adopting it in the near future.
● According to a report by the European Union Law Enforcement Agency, 90% of
online content could be synthetically generated by 2026.

● Month long program.

● Get hands-on experience with the curated content.
● Get access to the Google Cloud Platform.
● Use Vertex AI for prompt design, develop Gen AI apps with Gemini and
Streamlit, and take part in the Gen AI Arcade game.

7. What do the timelines look like?
● Attend the introduction session.
● Register for the program. Forms open on 23rd April, 2024 at 7:00 PM (IST) and
close on 24th April, 2024 at 11:59 PM (IST).
● Receive access codes for the courses on 1st May, 5:00 PM (IST).
● Complete the courses in between 1st May to 28th May.
