• A webpage is a page on the internet that can
be found by typing in a URL or searching on a
search engine, there are countless Webpages
on the internet that can provide you with
information about whatever you search for.
• Generic conventions of a webpage are the
URL, the navigation bar and multimedia
content.
3. Layout
• The webpage must be laid out so that it is easy to
use by the user.
• The title must be large, bold and clear so the user
knows what the webpage is about.
• The fonts used must be simple and easy to read.
• The centre of the webpage is where the main
content usually is.
• On the left and right side of the page there are
navigation tools to help navigate around the
website
4. Why do artists have a webpage?
• Quick, easy and cheap to set up.
• Allows artists to interact with a global
audience.
• Allows audiences access to the artists
music, and to form a fan base on social
network sites.
• Younger audiences aged 12-25 years
commonly use webpage's to find out
information about their favourite artists.
