3. Research
• On a whole I believe that I worked well with my reseach as I was able to find
good and strong examples of already existing products, these were good and
strong examples to use because some of the already existing products were in
fact examples of very popular and very well selling games, which meant that I
was able to analyse them in well//good detail without any issues. However I
believe that I would have achieved much more if the rest of the product
examples I found were in fact also examples of very strong and well selling
games, as in my opinion this would have made my work to be much stronger.
• Another good thing from the fact that I able to find already existing products
with ease //also meant that I was able to look at other things in more detail, for
example one thing that also came up was the fact that I was able to look at
examples of existing characters//created characters from certain games.
4. Planning
• In my opinion I believe that I worked well with my planning as I was actually
quite quick to think up of ideas for my planning as I was able to find various
different good and quick ideas from researching different styles of already
existing products, this on a whole I believe was one of the main things that
helped to contribute to my planning work.
• My planning helped my production as I was able to quickly and efficiently think
of different ideas that I could use as a plan//possibly make into my actual
production.
• To make my planning more efficient//better I believe that I could have made my
work for my planning, I would have made it much more detailed and then my
planning would have been much more efficient as it would have appealed more
towards my audience as my actual production would be better.
5. Time Management
• I am of the opinion that my time management was split into two different
catagoies, this is because with my Powerpoint work//research my time
management was good//excellent, whereas with my actual production I felt that
my time management was awful, as if you look at my production reflection
PowerPoint, you will see that my progress was in fact very slow and other the
course of looking at each slide you will see that I have hardly made any progress.
• I believe to make my time management more efficient I could have worked faster
with my production and I would have done this by concentrating on my work
much more and not messing around with other things and if I do this then I will
have been left with more time to do my production work and is this time I would
have made any necessary corrections and also I would have more time to
complete my evaluation.
6. Technical Qualities
On a whole with all my work on my production I didn’t actually use a that wide variety of tools there is
only a few amount of tools of which I have used to create my production. One of the main tools of which I
used to create the majority of my work and that is the idea of the paintbrush tool, but too make it more
detailed I set the paintbrush to one pixel and I was able to colour it in much more accurately and there
was less chance of colouring over on one certain area.
I also used the tool of copy and pasting, which I used to get a copy of the ‘Rockstar logo’ and used the
eraser tool to remove any of the white background area. This is probably the most elaborate tool of which
I used// which gives the sense that my game is more aimed around being the basic type.
From looking at this example of the already existing product and from comparing it to my production you
can see that they have used a lot more different amount of tools making it more complex and
harder//more fun to play.
7. Aesthetic Qualities
On a whole, I believe that my work looks good yes but not as good as the already existing
product in the top left hand corner of the screen, this is due to one set reason and that is the
fact that they already existing product has got much more attention detail, which can be shown
clearly if you look at the already existing product the further amount of detail of which it
includes. However despite this fact, I am still of the opinion that my game looked good and user
friendly//drawing in the audience more and making them want to view//play the game.
Although that the already existing production is much more complicated//detailed looking then
my game, there is one clear observation that makes them look more similar and that is the idea
that they both feature a light coloured background//with the obvious use of a lighter colour
scheme , which I thought would be a good idea to do as it will be helping to draw in people to
make them want to view//play the game.
8. Audience Appeal
Yes I believe that my product appeals to my audience because that was of which
how I based my production around it being aimed towards my target audience and I
did this from the answers of which I got from the questionnaire of which I carried
out on an intention to find out what are peoples preferences. The results I got from
my questionnaires are the main reason to why my game appeals to its audience
because I aimed my production around this idea of the responses I got of my
questions.
One of the main things of which I feel that appeals to my audience is idea that I
created the background of my game more around the idea of a light country side
background and this is something that will have strongly appealed to the audience
because nearly all of the people who answered my questioned voted for the idea of
having a light country side style of background.
However I believe that I could have made my work more appealing to my audience
and I have would done this by adding in more features that will help to build up the
content of my game more and some of the features would be the some of the
features of which were not voted for as much.
10. Feedback 1

variety of different colours which will make it seem more interesting // or
colourful.
13. Peer Feedback Summary
• What do you agree with from your peer
feedback?
– Based around the feedback of which I received from my production one of
the main things of which I agree on from my feedback is the initial idea that
my use of creating a more lighter and happier//joyful background helped to
draw more people into viewing my game and making them want to
view//play it.
• What do you disagree with from your peer
feedback?
– From my feedback I disagree with the idea that I should add in more colours
to my production//as I believe that it wouldn’t have worked out.
14. Peer Feedback Summary
Based around the feedback of which I received from my work//I believe that
they I should add in the idea of more features being added into my game as
this would make it seem more interesting and possibly appeal more towards
my audience//possibly draw in a wider audience.
