3. Research
• I feel some strengths would have been that I wouldn’t have done some of
my moves without watching a couple of styles first, I probably would have
done the perch that spider man does but I wouldn’t have thought to do a
couple webs.
• I feel some weaknesses of research would be that I haven’t been able to
find anything that looks sort of like mine where they used greenscreen. I
could only find one where they used action figures and a couple scenes
from town.
• I feel I could’ve improved my research by looking somewhere else other
than youtube as I feel there could be some stuff about spiderman on
newspaper articles.
4. Planning
• I feel a strength of my planning would be that If I didn’t look at different
styles of spiderman costumes and also different stances i wouldn’t have
done the moves that I did in my product.
• I feel a weakness in my planning is that I didn’t really specify too much on
what I was doing and I kind of just went with the flow as they say.
• I feel I could have done better with getting all of my pictures for my mood
board. If I had of gotten better with collecting for my mood board I feel I
could have done different motions or actions in my production.
5. Time Management
• I feel I have managed my time really well there was one point
where I was like oh no I haven’t done anything I'm not going
to make the deadline but I managed to somehow pull
something out the bag and then I was one of the first to finish
which I wasn’t expecting at all.
If I did have more time I would have tried to make the best
out of my suit and try to possibly film in the woodland or at
least in places that I would have to normally do green screen
for.
6. Technical Qualities
simularities: I feel like the main
similarities are that they both
have a spiderweb blended into
the background and that they
both have a city in the
background.
Differences: the main
differences as you can see is
that mine shows the bad guy or
Villian if you prefer, but the
other one doesn’t as well as
mine has some slight after
effects like the glitches as well
as the lighting.
I have only just noticed that the
text on mine is curved whereas
the actual one isn’t which Is
quite odd.
7. Aesthetic Qualities
FMP (trailer) - YouTube
I feel like my work looks the best that tried to make it I did get to a
stage where I struggled to get the greenscreen to work but I
managed to get it to the best that it is now. I feel like the main
thing I like is the reference to the old spiderman film
(https://youtu.be/ssLSq8hEtBE) I wasn’t going to do that scene but
I was like its either I do that or have a shorter trailer and I wasn’t
going to leave the trailer like that.
Going to the poster the main thing I like about that is how
everything blends into the background whilst still being able to see
and understand everything in the poster.
8. Audience Appeal
I feel I have appealed to my target audience of belongers by giving them a Spiderman but
based in England. I feel the main bits that would have appealed to my target audience of 12-
18 year olds would be the scene that I did where I acted like Toby Maguire when he did his
dancing.
I feel with my poster I would have appealed to
males as it shows both the villain and also the
good guy i.e the spider of man.
Some of my audience didn’t think that we
needed an English spiderman as we apparently
already had one but I recon that we don’t and
that they are American although they come
from the uk and are born here they still have to
put on American accents whereas this is English
accented eventhough we don’t talk in this
trailer if we were to make a movie we would.
10. Feedback 1
• What did you like about the product?
– It's creative and funny.
• What improvements could have been made to
the product?
– Better green screening.
11. Feedback 2
• What did you like about the product?
– Its very random, but I like it.
• What improvements could have been made to
the product?
– Fix the green screening to get rid of creases.
12. Feedback 3
• What did you like about the product?
– both products I really enjoyed. You have a nice
contrast in between each character.
• What improvements could have been made to the
product?
– In the poster I would consider putting the opacity up
on the character on the left as its a very dark color
and I couldnt see it very well so I would turn it up a bit.
Maybe consider some transitions on the video so you
can see the switches easier and separates each
scene.
13. Peer Feedback Summary
• What do you agree with from your peer feedback?
– I agree that its creative and also that its quite random in
the sense of direction, like you don’t quite know whats
going on but that’s the thing it keeps people more hooked
so that they watch more to try and figure it out.
• What do you disagree with from your peer feedback?
• I disagree that its random as well as agreeing to it I
sort of don’t see why its random its all stuff that I've
learnt from different trailers and films so therefore
people should be able to understand it.
14. Peer Feedback Summary
I would most probably change some of the green screen but that
would mean re filming all of the green screen parts again so that I
can get the creases out but that also means changing the lighting
and also figuring out how to fit me in frame without having to move
out of shot. That was one of my main issues with filming was that
every time I changed camera angle the greenscreen didn’t look
right so we had to make do with what we had.
I would also add a couple transitions to make the trailer look
smoother between clips and also brighten up the person on the left
of my poster to make him a little bit more visible.
