This document outlines a plan for a blog aimed at reinforcing independent learning for first grade students. The blog will focus on having students describe their families through PowerPoint presentations with family vocabulary, mind maps for descriptions, and videos and games to practice vocabulary and grammar functions related to families. Resources to be included are presentations, maps, readings, images and slides. An example blog for a similar level is provided.
