During the coursework, the student learned how to use several new technologies including WordPress for blogging, SurveyMonkey for creating surveys, and Photoshop and InDesign for designing images and layouts. The student gained experience using layers in Photoshop and tools like the polygon lasso tool. Overall, the process of constructing the product provided an opportunity for the student to learn new software like Photoshop and InDesign that they had not used before.

about technologies from the

product?

2. During this coursework I have used a lot of different soft
wares. The only ones I have used before is Microsoft word
and powerpoint. I used them to plan and organise my
work to get the best possible result.

3. In the process of constructing this product I have learned a lot! The
process started with learning how to set up my blog in WordPress
where I could post all the things within the product. When I was
making an audience research I learned how to make a survey using
SurveyMonkey.
I had never used Photoshop or InDesign before in my entire life, but I
have learned how to use it in a good enough way that I could make a
readerprofile and my final product which contained a front cover,
contents page and double page spread. The reason I have never used
these photo programmes is because I have never had the subject or
anything related to it in Norway before.

4. When I started using Photoshop I did not know where to start at all,
but after some time it got easier and easier. I learned that to edit
different things in my project I had to create different layers, and
the way I created each layer was by right clicking and then creating
a new layer. I also used the polygon lasso tool a lot, that helped me
make thinks look better and more professional.

Monkey
While I was working with my market
research I used the webpage Survey
Monkey to make a questionnaire
about my audience. I did not know
how to do this, but it was easy and a
good way to get a lot of responses in a
short amount of time.
