Basic £25-30k – OTE circa £65-70k + Car/Car Allowance + Pension +
Phone + Laptop + Expense Account + 25 day holiday allowance

Our client is a leading supplier of aftermarket diagnostic tools and equipment in the UK. To continue with
their success they have an exciting opportunity for a field based Regional Sales Manager, to assist with
sales growth of their workshop equipment and diagnostic tools aftermarket programme.
The Role

Demonstrate the features and benefits of the products to motor factors, distributors,
dealership groups, and end users in workshops / garages.
Responsible for achieving set sales targets within the region. Having a reactive and
proactive approach to selling diagnostic equipment.
Achieve and report on agreed sales targets with responsibility for all pricing actions to
deliver agreed gross margin budgets.
To provide suitable training and aftersales support, advising on requirements for future
development of products and services, both in terms of hardware and software
upgrades.
Ensure the company is perceived by customers as a professional supplier that is easy to
do business with.
Continually report on domestic market conditions, staying up-to-date and providing
competitor data, researching new products in international markets.
Work closely with customers to understand their needs, to develop, support, and grow
business.
Build close working relationships with all internal departments to improve products and
services, always looking to reduce costs.
2. The Candidate

An aftermarket sales professional with a strong knowledge of the automotive industry
and experience with technical products.
A passion and proficiency for demonstrating technical products, highlighting features and
benefits whilst overcoming obstacles.
Professional training / experience / understanding of vehicle diagnostic scanners, garage
equipment, hard parts and related aftermarket products is key.
Experience in field sales / business development is highly desirable though not essential.
A solid technical grounding with previous experience as a technician / mechanic is
desirable but not essential.
A strong communicator with the ability to effectively build and maintain business
relationships at all levels.
The ability to pro-actively identify and generate new business opportunities against sales
and profitability targets.
Self-motivated and driven to progress within the organisation.
A customer focused approach is essential to reflect the professionalism of the company.
Organised with excellent time management ability.
A full UK driving licence.
