Professional Experience
Export – Marketing/Sales & Business Development, International Trading
• Responsible for generating marketing strategies, business plans for developing new businesses. Promote company’s product
visibility and availability; effectively leveraging contacts with key and major players.
Increased exports sales by 25 % (2015-16) over previous year (during 2014-15), and forged key alliances as OEM supplier
and generated over USD 5 Million in sales previous year. Generated around 20% increase in customer base to the already
existing company’s customer base. Overdue credit accounts have been successfully maintained at NIL.
• Guiding the whole export department with an annual turnover of approx. 10 million USD and assisting the Management in
pricing and preparing tender submissions and written proposals to clients. Identifying and pro-actively resolving problem
areas and communicating with clients on a daily basis. Providing the company Directors with analysis of market &
competitor intelligence.
• Guide subordinate staff on appropriate sales strategies and tactics, company policies, standards and procedures which lead to
an overall increase in profitability and efficiency. Carry out team performance analysis.
• Understanding and providing full customer needs, assessment, planning and targeting appropriate product/service solutions

procedures including credit and collection, product outsourcing and related processes.

dealer network/directly to end users in Middle East countries, Mediterranean countries, COMESA/East/West/North/Central
African countries, South East Asian Countries, Sri Lanka, Nepal.
• Control end to end export sales of Agro products in Iran, South East Asian Countries and Australia. Responsible for sales of
Customs Duty Free Goods to Indian Navy personnel on board Indian Naval ships, Indian and Foreign Merchant vessels,
Foreign Embassies.
• Possess excellent communication skills both oral and written and experience of dealing with a diverse client base across
countries. Responsible for the planning, development and implementation of strategic initiatives/programs to maximize
revenue and profitability within all international markets.
• Collaborate with Buyer, Customer Marketing to develop comprehensive sales presentation materials tailored to the
Customer’s objectives and needs.
• Drive growth in all areas with customers including revenue, profitability, services and brand loyalty.

opportunity, specifically in the areas of Supply Chain and Service. Work collaboratively across the organization to deliver

• Identify and promote international acquisition and joint venture opportunities. Strong knowledge of general sales planning,
forecasting, and customer P&L management.
• Develop business opportunities by sourcing product availability and pricing from Asia and the Middle East (products include
auto parts, accessories, tyres, tubes, batteries for all types of automobiles, agro products, high end bicycles and accessories,
furniture, FMCG).
• Co-ordinate freight and distribution, set-up lead time and monitor the movement of goods from load ports to destination
ports. Liaison with all companies involved in each deal; follow-up and ensure executing contract as per the agreed terms and
conditions.
Export / Import - Shipping, Logistics, Documentations & Liaison
* Advising the production, planning and control department to take up production. Responsible for planning complete logistics
• and ensure meeting schedules. Responsible for all Export Licenses are arranged on time. Responsible for all Credit Guarantee
/ Insurance with the Export Credit Guarantee Agencies and Marine Insurances are arranged. Ensuring all the documents
required as per International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code for shipment of hazardous /dangerous goods are arranged.
Responsible for execution of high seas Sales/Purchases.
• Responsible for shipping at economic freight rates. Liaise with Marine Mercantile Department for stowage of hazardous
cargo on board the vessel. Responsible for releasing of overseas agency commissions, wherever applicable as per the Central
Bank guidelines.
Supply chain management
• Responsible for price negotiation supply terms & conditions with overseas/indigenous suppliers, establishing payment terms /
Letter of Credit. Responsible for material planning, warehousing, inventory management & control. Responsible for
implementation of laid down policy and procedures for supply chain / logistic and also developing supply chain / logistics
policy and procedures.
• Responsible for the receipt and bonding of duty free goods and ensure first in first out from private bonded warehouse,
control on inward/outward movement of goods & expenses.
MIS, Commercial activities
• Responsible for presentation of export sales reports; annual exports sales forecast, budgeted exports/expenses versus actual
exports/expenses and other related reports as required by the Management. Ensure preparation and filing of returns to the
export promotion bodies and to all statutory authorities.
• Devised pricing methodologies and industry strategies through economic and business analysis. Conducted industry research
by using internet, information about competitors and prevailing market prices and worked with technical specialists regarding
external resource requirements and product specifications. Possess an acute financial acumen and very organized approach to
all assignments and activities.
• Assigned the tasks of formulating proposals to build and maintain existing relationships with contractual customers.
