Brief:
To be able to create a music video that runs for 3 – 4 minutes using my own locations, props and
artists. Also to create a digipack and poster.
Aim:
My aimisto create a successful music video that competes with the original video of my chosen
song. However the overall aim of my music video is to entertain the target audience.
Description of your intentions:
My musicvideowill focuson one artist throughout. My video will be about the change between
day andnight.On one side of the videoyouwill see myartist ‘Jonathan Mebenga’ living a normal
teenage life during the day, being in school and getting on with his work whilst being quiet.
However on the other side my artist will undergo a drastic change by changing his outfit and
highlightingaluxurynightlife.Iwill have myartistgofrom ridingbuses to cruising in a Mercedes.
Target audience:
My targetaudience will be made upof HipHip/Rapmusicfans. It will appeal to both genders and
will andwill target16 – 25 yearoldswho are interestinginthatparticular genre and because Hip-
hop/Rap is popular these days it will give me a larger audience.
