2. The general colour scheme and house
style wasn’t the brightest and was quite
sepia-like, throughout the package.
However, with a highlighting effects on
the artist. This brings more attention to
the artist and promotes them more.
3.
4. I have used lighting to tie my products
together, putting a spotlight on or
highlighting the artist. For my main
product, I used actual spotlights and for
my ancillary tasks, I used filters and
adjusted the shadow and highlights on
Photoshop.
5.
6. I used consistent font styles throughout my
ancillary products. For my artist name I used
"MV Boli Regualr" and for everything else I
used "Travelling Typewriter". I decided to
use these fonts, as they connoted fun and
enjoyment, as well as being fairly simple
and bold. The font size on my products was
72 for "MV Boli Regular". For "Travelling
Typewriter" the size varied but the main text
was 60. This made them big and bold.
7.
8. The costumes used in my main task and
my ancillary tasks were very similar. I
used very casual, "typical teen" clothing
that my target audience would find
normal, enabling them to relate to my
artist. In addition, the fact that casual
clothing was used in my video, it ties my
narrative of the video to my print work.
9.
10. In my audience feedback, it was clear
that my target audience agreed that my
main task and my ancillary tasks were
clearly part of the same package and
were for the same artist, as there is an
obvious similarity between images, mise-
en-scene and fonts.
11. All of these things give my products a clear
house style and creates a strong star image
and brand identity for my artist. According
to Richard Dyer, these will create themes
that my target audience will identify with
the artist and create anchorage and
stardom. This is important in marketing the
artist.
