2. Major Responsibilities
• Technical support for socioeconomic survey (village survey,
FGD, Village census, Household survey, CnR)- Planning,
implementations, statistical and economic analysis.
• To supervise the cost and return on Paddy, wheat, and maize
and soybean etc.
• To provide assistance in delivery activities in various
technologies viz. DSR, ZTW, ZTS, Paddy nursery
establishment etc
• To work in organizing travelling seminar, training programme
and demonstration of new technologies among farmers
• To provide assistance in making of CKB materials, booklets,
case studies etc
3. Work Accomplished
• Village survey in 18 villages of Bihar and 2 villages of West Bengal
• Organized Focus Group Discussion in 9 villages of Bihar and 1
villages of West Bengal
• Organized village census in all 20 villages to select farmers for
household survey
• Coordinated cost and return survey for both season each years since
2010
• SRI survey in 5 districts in our hub domain.
• Participated in hub based delivery activities in each season specially
at the time of crop establishment to harvest.
• Participated in farmers training, travelling seminar of farmers and
scientist both, TWG, field day and demonstration of new
technologies
• Interview taken from 11 CSISA farmers and suited video
4. Inconvenience and Suggestion
• 60-70 days internship is not sufficient to complete all
assignment i.e. cost return and their own topic with quality
• Questionnaire for their own topic should be ready prior to
internship
• Market linkages i.e. forward and backward
• Area specific technologies implementation
• More number of training should organize on timely manner
• Develop strong linkages with state Government for better
delivery of technologies
