Production Reflection
Your Name
Process
• So far at this stage I have been
working on my character creation
and also have made work on
adding in some form of movements
i.e. walking/running. I have been
working on these character
movements as my character
generally needs to move in my
video game . I felt that the creation
of character was actually quite easy
but when it came to the
movements, at first I was actually
struggling with it as at first I didn’t
know how to create the
movements, however I was shown
and in the end I knew how to create
movements for my character.
Process
• So far I feel that I am making good and
efficient progress with my production
work, from looking at my production
work so far you can see that I have
added in the majority of the assets for
my game i.e. the idea of the trial which
you have to go over in various places
around the game. Based on my
progress I feel that I am working well
and will be able to finish my production
well within the time range I have to
finish/complete it. My next stage of my
production work will be to carry on
with my initial production work i.e.
continue adding in the assets to my
game, such assets may include the idea
of coins that need to be collected along
the way and enemy objects of which
you have to avoid.
Process
• This is a more zoomed in/ more
focused example of my production
work and an example of what it will
look like once it has been altered
down to the correct size which is
120 by 80. This more zoomed
in/focused image example actually
shows what my game is looking like
at this time. At this point I am of
the opinion that I am in fact making
good progress with my work and I
am still of the opinion that I will be
able to finish my work well within
the time range of which I have
despite still having several more
assets /items that I need to include.
Process
• At this stage I have made a lot
more progress with my work and I
am now in fact at the editing stage
of my production i.e. making it into
an animation by adding in
movements and the sound effects
later on. In my opinion I believe
that I have worked well with my
production and I feel that it Is going
to turn out exactly how I wanted it t
I also feel that it will
look/sound/appear even better
when I have added in the sound
effects towards my adver. game.
My next step is to export my game
and put it into premier and then
add in y sound effects, after that
my production work will be
completed.
Process
• I have now added in all of my frame
animations i.e. the movements for
were my character is moving to and
that is basically to the end of my
game, were it says the ‘winner’ sign. I
have one final stage of which I have
to do before I export my game and
prepare to put it into premier to add
in the sound effects that will in the
background while my game is being
played and that feature is the idea of
making the coins and enemy objects
invisible once they have been
collected/ destroyed or even in the
case that the playable character has
simply passed them. Before I export
my game I also feel that I will need to
change/ alter the time/speed of
which each time frame animation
runs.
Process
• To help my game look and feel more like a
game I included in the idea of a start menu
that appears for a few seconds as a menu that
simply has start and options on it and
obviously start is pressed and the menu
disappears. For the creation of this I simply
used the idea of the paint brush tool but scaled
it down to 1pixel coloring rate and also
selected the pencil tool to make it more
focused/detailed. To get the different colours I
simply used the idea of going onto the colour
pallet and selecting a different colour for when
I wanted/needed to change the colour. I could
of used the shape tool to make the outlines for
my buttons, however I felt that I wouldn't’t
have been able to draw the shape that I
wanted, so I thought best to draw it myself via
the paint brush tool.
process
• I have now finished off the process stage
of animation for my production work and
am completely ready to put it into premier
and add in the sound effects, once I have
done that I will be ready to move onto my
evaluation and my production will be
complete.

I felt that the creation of character was actually quite easy but when it came to the movements, at first I was actually struggling with it as at first I didn’t know how to create the movements, however I was shown and in the end I knew how to create movements for my character.
  • 3. Process • So far I feel that I am making good and efficient progress with my production work, from looking at my production work so far you can see that I have added in the majority of the assets for my game i.e. the idea of the trial which you have to go over in various places around the game. Based on my progress I feel that I am working well and will be able to finish my production well within the time range I have to finish/complete it. My next stage of my production work will be to carry on with my initial production work i.e. continue adding in the assets to my game, such assets may include the idea of coins that need to be collected along the way and enemy objects of which you have to avoid.
  • 4. Process • This is a more zoomed in/ more focused example of my production work and an example of what it will look like once it has been altered down to the correct size which is 120 by 80. This more zoomed in/focused image example actually shows what my game is looking like at this time. At this point I am of the opinion that I am in fact making good progress with my work and I am still of the opinion that I will be able to finish my work well within the time range of which I have despite still having several more assets /items that I need to include.
  • 5. Process • At this stage I have made a lot more progress with my work and I am now in fact at the editing stage of my production i.e. making it into an animation by adding in movements and the sound effects later on. In my opinion I believe that I have worked well with my production and I feel that it Is going to turn out exactly how I wanted it t I also feel that it will look/sound/appear even better when I have added in the sound effects towards my adver. game. My next step is to export my game and put it into premier and then add in y sound effects, after that my production work will be completed.
  • 6. Process • I have now added in all of my frame animations i.e. the movements for were my character is moving to and that is basically to the end of my game, were it says the ‘winner’ sign. I have one final stage of which I have to do before I export my game and prepare to put it into premier to add in the sound effects that will in the background while my game is being played and that feature is the idea of making the coins and enemy objects invisible once they have been collected/ destroyed or even in the case that the playable character has simply passed them. Before I export my game I also feel that I will need to change/ alter the time/speed of which each time frame animation runs.
  • 7. Process • To help my game look and feel more like a game I included in the idea of a start menu that appears for a few seconds as a menu that simply has start and options on it and obviously start is pressed and the menu disappears. For the creation of this I simply used the idea of the paint brush tool but scaled it down to 1pixel coloring rate and also selected the pencil tool to make it more focused/detailed. To get the different colours I simply used the idea of going onto the colour pallet and selecting a different colour for when I wanted/needed to change the colour. I could of used the shape tool to make the outlines for my buttons, however I felt that I wouldn't’t have been able to draw the shape that I wanted, so I thought best to draw it myself via the paint brush tool.
  • 8. process • I have now finished off the process stage of animation for my production work and am completely ready to put it into premier and add in the sound effects, once I have done that I will be ready to move onto my evaluation and my production will be complete.
