3. Feedback questions
• Based on what you have seen in the above slide of my production so far. What are your favored aspects of
my game layout and why?
• One of my favourite aspects of your game would have to be the look of the first level because it is very
contrasting compared to the other two because it is quite bright and vibrant, also I would say that you have
put more effort into this one because it has more detail in comparison to the other two, but besides the
first one I quite enjoy the layout with the spiders and lava because they look the polar opposite of the
previous ones as they are very dark.
. What changes/improvements do you think I should make to my production to benefit my ending product?
One improvement which I can see straight away would be the lack of work because there isn't much
to go off from what I have seen but something I would say could be changed would be to make it
your own because at the moment it looks very similar to many pixel games, because one of the
objects being the sword looks very similar to minecraft, so by putting your own spin on it and changing it up
it would massively help your ending product.
From looking at my production so far what would you say I need to look at developing more. And why/how
would you go about doing that?
I would say to put some more detail in some of the layouts because they are quite lack luster as they only have
the bland background which isn't very enticing to the audience, also I would make it more obvious what the
little things are in the dirt and the little bar at the bottom because I can make out what some of them are but I
don’t know what the other things are, these may be developed easier if you where to increase the amount of
space which you have given yourself.
4. Feedback questions
• Based on what you have seen in the above slide of my production so far. What are your favored
aspects of my game layout and why?
I like the art-style that you have gone for, it reminds me of older games from my childhood. I found this
specifically with the dirt layers, as many older games used similar styles. The nostalgia can be a great
draw into a now older audience.
• What changes/improvements do you think I should make to my production to benefit my ending
product?
I’ll be honest, in terms of what kind of game your going for , I am not really sure what to recommend in
the way of improvements. Maybe have some kind of clear and understandable aspect which hints at
what kind of game it is meant to be. For example if it was a side-scrolling adventure game I would
recommend a distance traveled total in a bottom corner. If it is was an side-scrolling action game then I’d
recommend an ammunition count and current weapon in use. The chosen aspect should obviously
relate to the game you want to produce.
• From looking at my production so far what would you say I need to look at developing more. And
why/how would you go about doing that?
My previous answer should cover this to some degree.

• Based on what you have seen in the above slide of my production so far. What are your favored
aspects of my game layout and why?
I quite like the details in the layouts as they appear to have a good amount of detail and so it is relatively
comprehensive of what location you are supposed to be in. There is a good amount of detail in the
orange strip.
• What changes/improvements do you think I should make to my production to benefit my ending
product?
I was unsure of what there could be to improve upon at first as there is not too much to go on at this
point, being unaware of what your end goal is. I will however say that it is possible maybe to put a little
more unique details in, as the weapons in the ground are quite basic, although I understand this is a
small scale project, they seem familiar.
• From looking at my production so far what would you say I need to look at developing more. And
why/how would you go about doing that?
From what I can see so far, I would say you maybe need to develop a way to know what the goal is, or
how long of the level is left. This could be through a title screen, or pop up. Or even through a counter
being implemented somewhere on the screen. I would possibly also develop the design of the, what I’m
assuming are, spider webs, as that is quite an unclear object that I can’t say I’m too sure what it is.
6. Final summary of feedback
• Based on the feedback of which I have received from my feedback, the main
feedback of which I have received was more based around the idea that I need to
add more detail into my game and this is something of which I 100% agree with
as a few weeks ago I ended up losing my production work and having to start it
over again, but to summaries in general yes I will be including more detail into
my work in fact a lot more then what there already is now. Based on the
feedback of which I have received I will be continuing to get on with what I was
looking at doing before hand and that was more based around adding in more
details to my production work to make it look the best I can in the time frame of
which I have left. Later on in my production I will probably be looking at doing
some more production feedback but based more around my work once I have
looked at adding more detail into it, along with this I will also probably look at
getting some other/different people to look at giving me feedback, so that I am
getting multiple different peoples opinions rather than being the same people all
the time.
