Working Title:
What is it called? This can change if you think of something better later
Graveyard golfing.
Product’s Purpose:
What is the product’s purpose (entertain/educate etc.) and how will you achieve this?
My purpose is to make a profit off an advergame and to put it on my portfolio.
Genre:
What sort of product is it
It is a pixel advergame.
Content
What is your product about? Discuss what you would put in it (be specific). Does it have a story? If
so, discuss it here
My product is a horror golfing game.
Audience:
Who is your audience? Be very detailed; age, gender, social status, psychographic etc
Why would your project appeal to this person?
Age:
My target age rating is 9 – 18 because this is the ages people go and play phone games. It is
mostly students on the bus or in their free time.
Gender:
The game is unisex because it will not have anything that stereotypes a specific gender. I will not
be advertised to fit a specific gender as well.
Social status:
The game is for any social status as long as they have access to a phone or a laptop.
Psychographic:
The game is for students to play on the bus or in their free time.
Research and Planning:
What elements of your research and planning will you use in your final production?
I will use the idea of collecting coins in game. This gives players more objectives and it gives us a
chance to make in app purchases in the future.
Where will you use your research and planning in your final production?
I will use my research and planning in my finial production to get ideas about, how I am going to
lay out my game. This will be useful because it is hard to work out a good layout.
I will also use my research and planning to help my draw out the characters. This will help because
it is hard to draw out humans with pixels. I used it to work out what type of game I should do, at
first I thought about making a running game, but now I have chosen to make a golf game.

Legal & Ethical Considerations:
Think about any offensive material you will include?
There will be no offensive material because it is just a ghost game.
Will you restrict younger people using/accessing it?
I will let everyone use the game. If they are under 12 they will need their parents’ permission.
Will it offend any social groups/religions/ethnicities?
No it won’t offend anyone.
How will you ensure you do not offend anyone?
I will not mention any social status in my game.
Are you using characters/names/logos of existing products/IPs?
No my content is 100% original.
Will you product be sufficiently different from existing products to not get sued for copyright
infringement?
Yes it will not get sued as everything in my game is created by me and I will be creating my own
names, characters and logos.
