The product’s purpose is to entertain and I will achieve this by making sure that my product
entertaining and fun to play.

My product is a fighting game with pixel art graphics. My product can be played single-player
against bots or multiplayer with friends. There will be a variety of characters to choose from in the
game
Audience:
Who is your audience? Be very detailed; age, gender, social status, psychographic etc
Why would your project appeal to this person?
The audience of my product will be males aged 13 to 20. This is because the genre of fighting
games appeals more to men due to the violent themes, and video games appeal to younger
audiences rather than older. A secondary audience could be women or men of an older audience,
as despite the product not being targeted towards them they may still enjoy it because they enjoy
the visuals of the product. My product will appeal to the Emulator psychographic because my
product is emulating things that my audience can’t do in real life.
Research and Planning:
What elements of your research and planning will you use in your final production?
Where will you use your research and planning in your final production?
I will use my research to aid me in my production as it will help me know what my audience wants
and my planning will help me stay on-track with my production as I will know exactly what to
produce.

Think about any offensive material you will include?
My product will not include any offensive materials aside from realistic violence in a sporting
context.
Will you restrict younger people using/accessing it?
I will restrict younger people from using it by giving my final product a 13+ age limit. This is due to
the violent nature of the product and it is not suited for younger audiences.
Will it offend any social groups/religions/ethnicities?
I will make sure not to offend any social groups/religions/ethnicities by researching and making
sure my product doesn’t include anything that could be deemed offensive.
How will you ensure you do not offend anyone?
I will make sure my product is in compliance with the ASA codes and ensure that my product does
not intend to offend any group of people.
Are you using characters/names/logos of existing products/IPs?
I will not use any material from existing products or IPs as this is an original product
Will you product be sufficiently different from existing products to not get sued for

Yes, I will make sure my product is sufficiently different so it isn’t copyright infringement. My
product will show inspiration from existing products but won’t be a direct copy.
