A- (Analyze Learners) My learners are a 1st grade class with Special ed students, 7 students in the class
have mild to severe ADHD, there are 10 boys, 7 girls, 70% white, 20% African- American and 10%
Hispanic.
S- (State Objectives) By the end of the week, my first grade students will recite and memorize the
months of the year by playing games, looking at pictures, playing games on the computer, watching
short YouTube videos and being asked questions with 100% accuracy.
S-(Select methods, media and materials) Short cartoon videos, memory games, computer activities,
action games, look at pictures, and asking questions.
U- (Utilize Media and Materials)Students will have stations to play different games and ask questions. As
a class they will all watch the short cartoon video about the months of the year.
R- (Require Learner Participation) Students will be asked questions during class time as well as before
and after class. Also, I want students to ask their other classmates questions as well. These questions
will be short and worded in ways that a first grader will be able to understand.
E- (Evaluate and Revise)With 100% accuracy, my students will recite and have memorized the months of
the year by the end of the week.
