1. Friday:
A (Analyze the learners) - The class is made up of twenty High School Freshman. Three students have
mild to severe ADHD. Twenty percent are African American and eighty percent are white.
S (state objectives) - After a long week of learning about William Shakespeare, I want the students to be
able to relax a little. Using the QR code that will be given, the groups will have to submit their group
sonnet to me on e-mail.
S (Select methods, materials and media)- The students will use the QR code I post to send me their
sonnets and I will show them a photo shopped picture I created as well as use a Glogster that I created
as well to see what all the students have learned the past week.
U (Utilize Media and Materials)- Students will learn how to use a QR code, see some of the basics of
Photo Shop and see what a Glogster is and how it is simple to create one.
R- (Require Learner Participation)- Students will present their sonnets to the class and after each group
presents, I want the other students to give back constructive criticism as well as what they interpret the
sonnet to be about.
E (Evaluate and Revise) - The Students and myself will ask one another questions about the sonnets
after they are presented to the class. Also I will use the Glogster as a tool to test the students on what
they have learned the past week. At the end of the class, the students will hand in the essays that they
had written the past week.
