This is a power point on my target audience questionnaire feedback

1. As you can see it is easy to distinguish that my target audience is mainly female. This
allows me to be aware that I will construct my magazine to a more female audience.
Although some of my audience were male so therefore I will have to make sure I include
some male oriented aspects to my magazine.

2. From this graph, it is clear to see that my main age of an audience is between the ages of
15-18. I am aware that this is the age bracket in which I fall under so my knowledge of
what will people will read will be better so I will be able to know better what to include.

3. I was not expecting the result I got in this graph. I personally thought that R&B would be more
popular than it was but when looking at this result I seen that pop was most popular followed by
indie. So therefore I will use one of the more popular genres as my magazine genre.

4. As my target audience tended to be mainly young adults it was very important to find out
the right price that these potential buyers would pay. I had to take into consideration that
if it was too dear people wouldn’t pay the price and if it was too low the magazine
wouldn’t make any money.

5. As the different preferred colours in this graph I thought that potentially I could use a bit of all
these colours so that everyone’s ideas would be incorporated into my magazine. As red and
pink were mostly popular it would be most suitable if perhaps these colours were used as the
main magazine colour scheme.

6. By carrying out this graph I got an idea of the artists that my target audience like and
who they follow. It was important for me to ask this question so that I would get an
idea of what type of artist I have to feature in my magazine and what would draw
people to buying my magazine

7. By including this question it allowed for me to see what the main focus of the front cover would be
and what would make the buyer want to buy it. By getting this feedback it allowed for me to see
what to focus on and put the most focus on when constructing my magazine.

8. I thought that if in my magazine if I included a free gift it would make more people want to buy it.
This would increase sales and allow for my magazine to become more of a success. I felt that
vouchers would be the most popular and it was this means that in my magazine I should perhaps
include a free coupon or voucher as it is what my target audience are interested.

9. By having this question it allowed me to see if a band or solo singer would be most acceptable
to include as my main image. As including a band and female artist came very close to each
other I will have to sit down and think hard about what type of musician I am thinking of
including as my main image on my magazine.

10. As all of these features on this magazine appeared to be popular I thought that
perhaps it would be a good idea to include snippets of all these in my magazine so
that all the buyers will be happy. As interviews and celebrity gossip tended to be the
highest it would be appropriate to ensure that these are included.
