PERSONAL PROFILE
A committed and enthusiastic English teacher with one year's experience currently seeking a teaching
position in Bangkok. During previous employment, I gained extensive experience teaching General
English to children and adults between the ages of three and thirty, and a modest amount of experience
teaching Business English to adults. I believe good classroom practice is the key to effective teaching
and learning, and I plan for a balance of teaching styles and learning experiences to suit the abilities of
the students. Those who have observed me interact with students believe that I connect with them
extremely well, understand their needs, and have an interest in each individual. My enthusiasm for
teaching English has had a positive effect in the classroom, and has motivated and encouraged
students to be interested and maintain focus consistently. I have high expectations of my own teaching,
the quality of the lessons I plan, and the behaviour of the students in my classes.
