Codes and Conventions of
Editors Letter
There is an image of the editor
takes up a quarter of the page.
Uses direct mode of address to
establish a relationship with
audience.
There is a quote on underneath
the image, indicates the quote

on another magazine from that
magazine company.
The title tells us that this is the
editors letter, it is the biggest font
on the page so makes it sound out
to the reader.
There is a question that the editor
then goes on to answer at the top of
the page, the question makes the
reader want to read on to find out
the editors answer.
The editors paragraph is in a single
column that is easy to read and very
neat, the most important info at the
start of the paragraph is in bold.
The letter is signed by the editor and
also addresses the audience as friend
which then builds a relationship with
the audience
There is an advertisement for
another magazine of the same
brand.
There are social media tags for
the editor at the bottom of the
page giving the audience extra
accessibility to the editor
