2. Focus groups
 I used focus groups throughout my
production stages getting information on
personal preferences from peers, I used
them a number of times when creating
my production asking for opinions and
most of the time I would adjust my
production accordingly

3. Individual comments
 The footer on front cover my colour scheme was a bit difficult to read because of the colouyr clash
with the text on the image. It should be more contrasting colour so the text is then easier to read.
 After receiving this feedback I then made the necessary adjustment to the colour of the text to make it
stand out changing it to a yellow an white combination that then became part of my house style

 The layout on the contents page looked a little bare with only two columns of writing and would
look better with 3 columns so there is enough information on the page to engage me also the
page looks quite dull and there possibly isn’t enough colour on the page in my opinion.
 After taking this information on board I then added the extra column as was really pleased with
the outcome and I put colour on the headings of each section on the contents and I though it
was really effective at gaining the audiences attention and made it easier to navigate

 I think that the image on the advertisement was over exposed, it was too bright so therefore
made the image look strange, it would look a lot better darkened I also think that a darkened
image would help the text stand out more.
 After taking this on board I darkened the image and I also played with the colour balance and it
allowed me to make the image colours similar to the house style on the page which was a purple

 I think that the images on the contents page really entice me to read through the magazine I also
think that the articles match up well to the images, the articles however could have had
descriptions underneath to give me more information though.
 I took this point on board and tried to put descriptions underneath, but I found that the article
name gave most of the information and I found it difficult to explain without repeating what was
said in the articles name. I then disregarded this point.
