2. On my front cover, the conventions that show
my magazine appeals to my audience is the
main image, cover lines and colour scheme.
Added to that the artists that I had used
along with the style and lay out of the
magazine should attract rap fans and my
target audience. Many rap fans are also
highly interested in an artists album release
or new releases altogether, the cover lines
that state new releases is a big plus point in
meeting my target audience as most of them
are interested in that sort of information. The
colour scheme connotes young, lively and
chilled youngsters who enjoy listening to Rap
music. The use of a yellow background
represents the genre of my magazine being
wild and appealing.

3. My contents page attracts my target audience
well I believe as it has very good and urban style
to it with an interesting lay out. Using the same
colour scheme I believe it pulls the reader in a
bit more with the fancy designs and the same
font is also being used throughout the page.
Another plus point I believe is the use of images
here as they are laid out in an interesting and
appealing way with page numbers also stated
on them giving the reader a small insight on
what to expect within the magazine.

4. I believe my double page spread easily manipulates the rap theme and
holds it greatly as it uses two simple colours, black and white with a
huge image of the main star in the magazine. This is all due to the fact
that Safwan is the main topic of the double page spread and has a
whole interview based around his success. The boxed out lay out of
this would attract the reader and the audience.
