 Responsible for follow up with internal and external customers regarding
inquiries, appointments, on-site customer issues including any walk-in traffic for
our Center Light facility. Escalates internal issues as needed and as appropriate.
 Communicating in a culturally sensitive manner and documenting all calls in internal
systems.
 Coordinates with Medical Management department to obtain Prior Authorizations for
specialized services.
 Responsible for scheduling all specialty consultations, including but not limited to
psychiatry, podiatry, lab/home draws and acupuncture.
 Responsible for informing customers via mail and or phone regarding all future
appointment.
 Responsible for scheduling annual, semi-annual PCP and CBPCP appointments.
 Retrieves, prints, and processes MD notes from MDX Transcribe and any shared drives
and schedules appointments as appropriate.
 Responsible for completing reports/documentation regarding appointments in our
computer systems.
 Responsible for the billing and coding process.
 Performs other duties as assigned.
