Provide services for patients with breast cancer such as consenting patients for tissue acquisition,
Managing an observational data registry for patients’ evaluation, Identifying factors which affect a
person’s risk for getting cancer and enrolling patients that qualify, that are willing to be part of cancer
genetic research studies. Provide pedigrees and risk assessment through Boadicea programming,
information for patients’ studies and communicate with patients’ with Genetic Counselor and Physicians
to determine the best clinical trial/study recommended for patient. Work with a Genetic Counselor and
other Research Coordinators, to insure proper progression of study protocol and guidelines. Submit
research data to appropriate database and laboratories for analysis. Responsible for setting up Genetics
board meetings, presentations of patients’ results and receiving feedback for recommendations from
Physicians. Also, responsible for consenting patients before or after surgical procedure for Breast and
Ovarian Cancer Research Studies, Delivery of Liquid Nitrogen as needed, to Pathologist for specified
patients who agree to participate, along with preparing slides and information for Pathologist to read

of all charge capture activities, assists in identification and authorization of managed care patients and
any other tasks as delegated by the Clinical Business Manager. Communicate appointment information
to patients as well as any information regarding their schedule, and the preparations needed for
