educational material hidden as anime and manga. There will be articlesand story’s about
upcoming anime and manga. It will also include event posters, pull out posters and
merchandise which I will all design myself.
What is the product’s purpose (entertain/educate etc.) and how will you achieve this?
Genre: The genre of the product shall be anime, manga and music however is shall be a
print based magazine rather than electronically based. This is because my audience prefer
a print based magazine rather than a digital magazine. I shall include different segments in
the magazine dedicated to each of these subjects. Furthermore, there will also be an anime
mash-up video advertising my magazine.
What sort of product is it

detailed descriptions of individual anime characters, adverts for merchandise which I made
on Redbubble and posters including my own characters I have created. There will also be
an anime mass-up video of all the anime I will write about to advertise my magazine.
What is your product about? Discuss what you would put in it (be specific). Does it have a story? If
so, discuss it here
Research & Planning: I shall include elementsfrom my research and planning to influence
my final idea. I shall be referring to my mood boards when I shall be making the posters,
merchandise and actual articles for the magazine. I shall also be referring to my research as
it will allow me to see what elements of their products has been successful and hopefully
take inspiration from their work without blatantly ripping them off.
Where will you use elements of your research and planning to influence and inform your final idea
(be specific to certain parts)
Audience: The main audience of my magazine will be for both genders aged 15 to a 25
however people over 25 will still find it interesting and helpful. My magazine won’t be aimed
at any social status, race or religion. The psychographic of my magazine will be belongsas
its easily affordable and will be mostly for the anime community. The magazine will also be
UK based. However the magazine could contain anime for a more mature audience so I’d
say the age range would be 16-25.
Who is your audience? Be very detailed; age, gender, social status, psychographic etc.
Why would your project appeal to this person?
Legal & Ethical Considerations:
Think about any offensive material you will include?
There will not be an offensive material in the magazine.
Will you restrict younger people using/accessing it?
I will not stop young people from accessing my magazine asit will be suitable for all ages.
However there may be graphic scenes so I’ll add age ratings if there is any bloody or
graphic scenes.
Will it offend any social groups/religions/ethnicities?
No I shall not be offending any social groups/religion and ethnicities.
How will you ensure you do not offend anyone?
I can insure that my product will not offend anyone as it’s a magazine about fictional people
and places. It will not include any certain types of people of people portrayed in a negative
tone.
Are you using characters/names/logos of existing products/IPs?
Yes, I shall be using most likely all three however I shall be including some of my own work
too. None of the names used shall be bad mouthed or portrayed in a negative way.

Will your product be sufficiently different from existing products to not get sued for copyright
infringement?
Yes, I believe that my product is different from existing products on the market as there is
only one anime magazine available in most stores in the UK.
