TIMES INC
Background Information
Founded on November 28, 1922 by Henry Luce and
Briton Hadden. In 1990, Times Inc had merged with
Warner Communications forming a mixture of media,
Time Warner. This lasted until June 9, 2014 when the
company was spun off.

World Wide
Times Inc is a New York based
company reaching places from
Amsterdam to Hong Kong.
Times Inc is the second largest
media company, after Disney.
Therefore this makes Times Inc
the best possible company to
publish my music magazine.
Brands
Times Inc has acquired over 90 brands
of magazines from sports to living.
However, they only own 1 music
magazine which is NME, therefore
leaving a huge gap in the market for
my genre of music.
Social Media
Platform
Having social media will increase the sales of
magazines as well as the awareness. This would be
ideal for my target audience as they are age 17 –
30 which is the age bracket most associated with
social media.
In Conclusion
Times Inc would be most suitable to distribute my music magazine, as they are
yet to have the genre Indie. In addition they have little music magazines
leaving a gap in the market. They also have social media which is ideal for my
target audience. Being a world wide company the sales of my magazine would
be very large.
