2. • It is a discharge of gas, air, or wind from the vagina.
Although the gas is harmless and odorless, some
people might feel stress and shame as a result of it.
• It is also called vart, queef/queefing, vaginal wind,

•Occurs with random movements,

•You may feel or hear the air leaving your

•It only lasts for a few seconds.

•Yoga: breathing and relaxation exercises can reduce
stress and tension.
•Kegel exercises,
•Vaginal pessary like a bard, round pessary,
•Pelvic floor muscle training,
•Tampon- prevent air entry during exercise,
•Radiofrequency & Vaginal lasers.
8. SURGICAL:
It is advised for persons with pelvic floor dysfunctions
and tumours,
•Colpoperineorrhaphy,
•Cervix amputation,
•Vaginal hysterectomy,
•Sacro spinal vaginal fixation.
