Fuglelivet

i 4718 ind.

opp i 218 arter. Dette er 8 arter færre enn i oktober 2017.
Sjeldenheter/ Lokale rariteter:
I Europa hekker

The bird was only seen by locals, and the record was not known for us before the bird was gone, and before the September report was published. The bird was photo documented. Little Egret is a new species for Jomfruland and the bird observatory, and was a long-awaited (and expected) record. This is species no. 323 for Jomfruland, and the 5th for Telemark. The species is widely distributed in tropical and subtropical parts of Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia. In Europe, the species bred in wetlands in South and Central Europe, included the British islands. The species is not threatened (LC – Least Concern).
