Mideast Metals FZCO March 2016 – Present
Mideast Metals FZCO is one of GCC’s most prominent Stainless Steel Stockholder and Service Center
providing Stainless Steel to various industries in the region. The company is well reputed among the
stockists, traders, fabricators and end users by the name of “Mideast Metals FZCO” now set up new sister
concern “Superior Metals FZE”.
Superior Metals FZE is a Jabel Ali Free Zone based company dealing in Aluminum products like sheets,
coils, plates, stucco sheets, 5 bar and diamond shaped chequered plates etc. Mideast Metals FZCO
assigned me as a Sales Executive for Superior Metals FZE and my objective is to develop the business for
company.
Sales Executive
The assigned job responsibilities are
• To recognize the customer by search online and by visiting the market.
• Making calls to customers to introduce the company and make them aware about the company products.
• Meeting with customers as per planned weekly schedule.
• Handling the customer’s inquiries by phone, mails and fax and give prompt response to them.
• Follow up the customers for the quotation and negotiate them about the price.
• To deal with customer on the request for credit facility and forwarding the required documents to finance
department for review and uploading in the system on permission.
• Receiving and approving the orders and ensure the delivery time to the customers after confirmation from
operation department for the same.
• Providing all necessary documents to authorize the goods shipment and informing operation department to
deliver the materials accordingly.
• Maintaining business relationships with current customers to increase the on hand trade with them.
• Establishing and developing relationship with prospective customers with aim of gaining new business.
• Communicating complete details of products that involve direct meetings, emails and telephone calls.
• Assist sales team in preparing quotation with worth knowledge of calculated rates of company products.
• Preparing sales report to help the manager in sales forecasting

Fleet Store Keeper cum Purchaser
Store Keeping
Job role include
• Material (Spare Parts, oil and general material) receiving, physically verifying & entering GRN in ERP.
• To sign delivery note after receiving goods and services as per required standard.
• Locating new material (Spare Parts) in store on the arrival.
• Maintaining day to day inventory of stock and dispatch the material to all branches workshops on time.
• Arranging material on reorder level to avoid the disruption in company operation.
• Checking physical stock and Verifying with system stock and control discrepancy as per policy.
• Confirming the future need of items from the workshop and storing it as per requirement.
• Keeping record of all parts with their item codes.
• Identifying the correct parts required from online parts catalog by assessing the vehicle type with the help of
its chassis number.
• Preparing quotation of the parts required for preventive maintenance and accident vehicles.
• Issue the parts for all confirmed material requisitions (MRs) and generate the delivery note. If the parts is
unavailable then initiating the procurement request.
Purchasing
• Dealing with all the major Suppliers like Al Futtaim Motors, Arabian, Al Yousuf, United Diesel, United Motors,
etc.
• Identify need for goods and services and search the market to obtain the best price.
• Send the inquiry to suppliers on the approval of purchase request and negotiating the price and getting the
quotation.
• To compare the price and identify which offer most closely matches to our requirements.
• Updating the supplier’s response, evaluating and selecting them on the basis of purchasing parameters.
• To fix the payment and delivery terms with suppliers and provide all the necessaries documents for credit
facility.
• Preparing the LPO and follow up the same, receiving order confirmation and shipping detail.
• Checking the supplier invoice with regard to price and payment terms, submitting the invoice to accounts
and record the invoice submitting date.
• Maintaining the price of all material in the system for future purchase and cost estimation.
• Keeping a record of all suppliers with their contacts.
Fleet Coordination
To assist the manager in fleet operation in the absence of concern person, I have been given additional
activities to perform, therefore my responsibilities were
• Making accident estimates and approval of the same from the insurance.
• Looking into the vehicles breakdown and managing for repair and lifting.
• Making vehicles complaint papers for workshop and assigning tasks to workshop staff.
• Taking care of equipment and tools.
• Preparing job cards and maintaining the daily work record of staff.
• Sending vehicles for washing as per schedule.
• Coordinating with fleet manager in preparing vehicle maintenance report.
