to apply for the same. Currently, I quit my job for global fund crisis with World Vision Bangladesh as an Agriculture Officer
in Nutrition - Agricultural and Non-Farm IGA activities (Under Livelihood Security Project), funded by World Vision
USA and implemented in Mymensingh district. The goal of the Livelihood Security Project is to reduce malnutrition,
enhance Food & Nutrition Security, Economic Growth & Micro Enterprise Development of poorest HH by empowering
them through Crops, livestock, Fisheries, forestry & nutrition initiatives, thereby contributing to the sustained well-being of
children and their families in the targeted communities.
I wish to be considered for this position based on the following qualifications & competencies:
• Have University Degree of Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from University Of Central California, at
Mymensingh Campus.
• Have M.Sc (Agronomy) & B.Sc (Ag) Hon’s from Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh.
• 20 plus years progressive working experience (8 years in Senior Agricultural Specialist,8 years as Agriculture
officer & 4 years as project manager) with NGOs in the areas of Food & Nutrition Security, Designing Business
Plan (agribusiness), Products marketing, Climate & Ecological Smart technologies, behavior change in child care
and nutrition practices and disaster risk reduction in order to increasing high value crop(Field & Horticultural)
production & reducing male nutrition.
• Capacity building of Community Based Organizations (CBO) and targeted beneficiaries, modern technologies
dissemination, quality inputs distribution & designing,creating &delivering product marketing to increase
economic opportunities.
• Facilitated Staffs & producer group members capacity development & technical assistance through effective
