Active involvement with team members in the COR audit process. Development of
site specific orientation videos and packages. Ensure project hazard assessments
and start up documentations are completed prior to mobilization on site. Prepare
and edit Project Specific Safety Program based on hazard assessments. Review Field
Level Hazard Assessments and ensure controls are applicable to the assigned tasks.
Monitor the health and safety management system to make sure outstanding
deficiencies are closed out. Provide administrative support to operations
management, project and safety teams. Coordinate booking of HSE related safety
training, recording keeping and tracking of training requirements. Prepare branch
supervisor training program for delivery as well as branch champion of in-house
corporate learning/training programs. Accountable for branch safety page on
company Intranet ensuring content is kept current and relevant. Order and
distribute safety material/ inventory; and follow up/code invoices and expense
forms. Coordinate meetings including: scheduling, booking resources, compiling
required materials and making catering arrangements. Participation in Regional
and Joint Health and Safety Committee meetings- record and prepare minutes.
Collaborate with team members on weekly tool box talks and distribute to project
teams. Regular inspections of first aid kits and AED machine. Conduct office safety
inspections and implement corrective actions. Coordinate travel arrangements for
senior management. Provide support to the branch in maintaining the Incident
Management System. Generate and log monthly reports for subtrade man hours in
Contractor Statistics database. Conduct research and/or review administrative
processes in order to improve upon the program and cost savings methods.
Responsible for onboarding of new employees and issue of required Personal
Protective Equipment. Review Incident Investigation Reports to ensure proper
execution.
