Pronunciation of Puss.
With very young learners, we should think of different strategies to elicit vocabulary. More
often than not, it is difficult for them just to produce the words, but they can identify
them.
You may think of different drilling techniques.
The memo game was lovely! Some cards were too high for them. What if you placed the
cards on the floor, and they turned them over in turns? Would it have been better?
You should exploit materials more. Children should have been encouraged to say the
numbers/animals as they were playing the memo game.
Beautiful dice!
Little children usually need to count to say the numbers. If you want them to say number 3,
for example, you should help them count up to 3, using some realia or their own fingers.
They really enjoyed moving around. They were not paying much attention to the song, they
just needed to move. It was great exposure anyway! Sometimes, you can play a song and
play the Move and Freeze game – you are exposing them to some authentic input and they
release some tension while having a nice time.
You used L2 most of the time.
